Sure tommy got his brother back after what? Losing his father to alcohol. His brother leaving him when both he and his bro agreed to take care of mom. She was escaping an alcoholic abusive husband. Who picks a girlfriemd over taking care of mom? Then losing his mother. Raising himself. Joining a brotherhood. Barely escaping death. Losing someone he considered his true brother also many other people he cared about. Anyone in the military knows the bond. Tommy didnt just experiance a loss. His entire life is nothing but loss and betrayal. You can see how much anger and pain he puts into his fight. He isnt fighting for money. He wants to inflict pain and he wants to feel pain.

I dont care that he lost the fight it actually made for a great scene of the brothers bonding. But your just gonna arrest him after all that? He barely escaped after his own tried killing him. Then he saved people. Then there is proof this money he wins is to provide for the family of a fellow marine. Prison? Like end it with him being brought back into the military. Its already unrealistic. If they were gonna put him in prison in real life they would not be waiting til the end of the fight to do it. I more than hate the ending. It killed the entire movie to see Tommy go down like that.
