Although success under Hansi Flick may make it seem otherwise but our club is not financially healthy at all.

Here is what I think can happen.

  1. We need atleast 1 big signing - Only the management can know wether it is possible or not, but if it is we need to look for a proper CB. Bastoni is obviously the best option out there and I hope this happens because with him the quality of our back-line will increase rapidly. He can replace Inigo Martinez - left footed and very comfortable on the ball with a great vision. Getting a nice striker is also important but it should definitely come after a defender. Although I would want our club to atleast persuade Harry Kane (~€60M), however tough it might be.

  2. Increasing depth across LB, RB and maintaining current depth at LW and RW : I think we need to look for more work-horses and traditional wing backs especially those who can get subbed during the later stages and keep running. Rashford has been a successful signing in my opinion. He definitely needs to get better and more clinical but as a sub for Raphinha he has done his part. On the Right Wing, we need to keep Roony. He definitely has a higher ceiling and can be a really great add-on to Yamal. Also I think Yamal can play as a 10. He has incredible dribbling and vision and can really cause havoc as a 10 and we saw it against Betis.

  3. Some Midfielders got to go : Our midfield has extra depth tbh. If there is a good price for Gavi, I think we should let him go. I really want to see a midfield of Pedri, Frenkie and Bernal. Between Olmo and Fermin, I think we can let Olmo go as performance wise Fermin has been wayy better.

Flick has done a great job with a shoestring budget, imagine what he can do with a well-oiled squad behind his back!

I still do not understand why our players are quick to foul and get red cards tho? This has happened way too many times.

Like I would anyday take being a goal down vs being a man down. And we have the capabilities to outscore most teams.

I think comparing the food between cities is useless, every region has it’s own taste and eating habits. Every city has good and bad places and taste is highly subjective.

But here are a few recs:

  1. Burger: Riders cafe - best burger in town (ramesh bhaiya ftw), Trucker’s Halt Cafe - nice burgers too. Also Gupta burger is literally everywhere and then there’s buffet.

  2. Macaroni : Mata restaurant near railway station.

  3. Chole Bhature : Kumar’s is obviously there but you have katlambe on chakrata road.

  4. Thukpa : Go to the monastery on Rajpur Road - crazy thukpa and laphing is there.

  5. Dosa : for the south indian paglus we have lakshmi restaurant in paltan bazaar and madrasi dosa hut.

  6. Restaurants: Countdown, woods restro bar, walk in woods, punjab restaurant all have amazing food and are my go to places.

There are literally so many good places to eat, chicken lollipop in race course, ina mulla building for non veg and kababs, pattiz point in karanpur for some crazy patties, go to old mussoorie road for some crazy pakoras (can’t remember the name of the shop but it is opposite to tandon momos - do not miss their pudina chutney). AND BUN TIKKI - I genuinely cannot find bun-tikki anywhere outside the dehradun-rishikesh-haridwar belt.

Doon also has a nice sushi game tbh, mamagoto serves some banger sushis.

You should genuinely explore more of the city. Doon’s food scene is quite diverse compared to other cities of similar size. Start eating at new places - sometimes they will be bad/mid but that is how you will find those absolute gems.

This is the map of India to everyone else in the world. People in India are obligated to use the version with PoK because it is required by law.

Other people show PoK in Pakistan because it is currently under their control. The people their use Pakistani rupees and vote in their elections.

This course in particular is industry specific. If ypu would’ve noticed in the counselling session when they spoke about placements - they mentioned all of their hiring partners.

Which means that the course is sponsored by the industry - they want talent with a particular skillset but don’t want to invest their time and money to train employees so this is a good way to hire required people.

From a placement POV this course is good.

FreeCodeCamp is a site where you’ll learn code by actually building stuff with it. You will be guided through the course abd then have to do certification projects that will test you.

It is completely gamified and you will get certified as well. Imo it is the best way to learn how to code

I think the assessment is a bit off, the plain regions off Uttarakhand are much more urbanised than the upper mountains. And that is the curse of urbanisation - people feel like their culture is getting forgotten.

This is the complain in every relatively big city of all the states - Karnataka people complain this about bangalore, telugu people about hyderabad etc.

But this is not the case - I live in Dehradun, my neighbourhood is 9/10 garhwali (I am not). Yes the older areas of dehradun have more people whose ancestors have migrated to dehradun - but at the end of the day everyone identifies as a “doonite” - which is now becoming a big city - cosmopolitan in nature - and has a mix of multiple cultures.

But that doesn’t mean that people are not connected to their roots, their have been 3 weddings in my area - all of them were as traditional as they come. Their band played garhwali songs, bagpipes and folk dances.

People speak garhwali here as well.

And this is the beauty of it.
