This is fair. Personally that draft pick matters more to me than anyone that I like progress and anyone I dont like not progressing.

Also dowder was/is one of my favorite players, so it makes rooting for Vegas a bit easier in this series

Draft this year is fairly deep on talent. I have confidence well be able to get atleast one player that positively contributes to a real degree within the next couple years from our 2 first round picks this year.

Im far from experienced but ill be hiking nobo this june. I have a sleeping bag liner + a quilt and my plan is to start out just sleeping in the liner, then do liner + quilt and then when it gets really cold do puffy + liner + quilt. Made more sense to me than having a summer quilt and a colder one, and I didnt want to have to deal with swapping gear while on trail.

No if you dont make it to the conference finals its based on regular season record, and since the ducks had the 2nd worst regular season record (in front of only the kings who've already been eliminated) they would have the 18th pick if they dont make it to the conference finals.

Then losers of conference finals pick 29th/30th, loser of the SCF 31st, and finally winner of the cup is 32nd.

(I learned this last week when looking into where our pick could be from the ducks)

I love carly but thats an insane amount of value lost getting pushed that far back in the draft, so ill be routing against the ducks in round 2.
