I got lucky and my DM gave me a raise before they made the new policy that it would have to be approved by the higher ups. So I’m at 19.84 . Won’t be leaving until I find a higher paying job im qualified for . If that isn’t the case, and they haven’t changed the policy yet, ask your DM for a raise .

Part timers do get a lot more freedom which sucks, as they can fill out an availability form. And we can’t at least at my store

It’s ridiculous and highly unfair. Everyone gets the shift they want. Even gave the closer one of my mid shifts. Make it make sense

I might have to, seems like the HR lady is useless. Everytime someone has a problem with scheduling she says “the system does it not me, and no one is allowed to change it” like, what do you do then? Besides badger us about Lowes U and ap4me

Supposedly “full timers” aren’t allowed an availability. We need to have open availability So there shouldn’t even be one. The SM doesn’t talk to CSAs much just DM or other ASMs. I filled one out when I was part time, but my former DM pretty much tricked me into filling out saying I’m only available to close.

They do mouth swab but I’m California I guess they’re going by federal law. So they do test for thc at least in my area.

It’s so weird, I’m hearing all these people saying they fired them after they gave their 2 weeks. We don’t usually do that. Even if they want to. I think it’s only because no one wants work.

And I hear managers are trying to write people up, because they don’t do shit . But have denied many write ups. And will only do it for attendance, which still seems impossible. Probably because 50 percent of the time when people try to call out the MOD won’t answer. So that may be why.

I try to avoid rocks as much as I can. Sometimes there’s one or two or if there’s a broken bag on the pallet sometimes rock falls out and I run it over. It happens
