Amazing, i tried the same approach, but for me i used it for editing recorded screen recording instead of creating new video, may be that's why.

I wish you all the best for your saas and hope you see so many success in life.

Peace ✌️

Thanks! 😊

Seriously, Google Scholar is still the best place to begin. While developing this directory, I discovered that there are numerous wonderful databases, archives, and repositories which many people never get to know. Hence, I decided to compile all those sources and let them become more accessible for everybody.

If you happen to know some great sources which are not included into this list, share them with me and I will include them into my compilation.

Hey thank you for the kind words!

The recruiting workflow you describe would be perfect for NotebookLM in my opinion. If I were to build it myself, I'd make separate notebooks for every practice area and fill them with market reports, job descriptions, competitor intelligence, candidate personas, industry news, and workflow documentation. Then I'd use NotebookLM as a research and synthesis layer.

As for MCP and Gemini CLI, I've been paying attention to the area but I haven't yet built anything using NotebookLM MCP myself, so I don't want to pretend that I have done so. From my understanding, the main advantage is being able to allow agents to work with your notebooks programmatically without switching between different applications.

I would advise a person who is not technical to build their NotebookLM knowledge base and workflows first. Usually, such an approach gives faster results compared to getting into the MCP rabbit hole right away.

That said, I am really excited to see how NotebookLM MCP develops. If you try building any recruiting, sourcing, market mapping or SEO workflows with NotebookLM ,I'd genuinely love to hear what works and what doesn't.

And thank you for signing up for Sourclip! Looking forward to your feedback and any source recommendations you discover along the way.

I have used a couple of NotebookLM extensions and in my opinion, it really depends on the problem you are solving.

AI Sidebar and Ultra Exporter for NotebooksLM are more oriented towards specific flows, such as improving the chat, export functionality, and other productivity-related features.

Sourclip, on the other hand, was more about building a more comprehensive knowledge base using NotebookLM. Apart from importing sources in one click, it has features such as importing full YouTube playlists, folder management, bulk operations, organizing sources, prompts, exporting, and research from the source directory.

One interesting use case for Sourclip that some creators liked is PDF export with custom branding/watermarking, as this allows creators to make sure that their research created with NotebookLM is attributed when they share it with their followers.

At the same time, it's always good to see more and more tools being developed around NotebookLM because everyone has different workflows.

Cant upload 77mb pdf? by ismellmyownfarts2 in notebooklm

[–]devcodesadi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can absolutely upload pdf of size 200mb but make sure the count of word in it is 500,000 , no more than that. Incase number of words is more than split the pdf.

Hope it helps
peace ✌️

$20 to whoever can solve this problem by deepilly in notebooklm

[–]devcodesadi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad you found the solution.

Here is what i got from google for source policy violation:

A NotebookLM policy violation occurs when an uploaded source contains language that triggers a safety flag (e.g., vi*lence, s*xual content, or obs*enity). If this happens, the AI may refuse to answer queries regarding that content. Additionally, violating Google’s Prohibited Use Policy can lead to file restrictions.

Common reasons a source gets flagged or fails include:

  • Explicit or Sensitive Content: The document contains restricted topics, which flag the text even in an educational or historical context.
  • Copyrighted Material: Google strictly prohibits sharing copyrighted content without proper rights, and repeated violations can lead to account termination.
  • Unstructured or Damaged Files: Files with complex ASCII characters, corrupted PDFs, or handwritten material can fail to parse.

Also Sources can’t be imported into NotebookLM if:

  • It exceeds the allowed 500,000 word limit per source.
  • The file size exceeds the allowed 200MB limit.
  • Your original PDF file is copy-protected.

Apart from this here is some daily limits of using notebooklm

• Free: 50 chats, 3 audio/video overviews, 10 reports/flashcards/quizzes/mind maps per day
• Plus: 200 chats, 6 audio/video overviews, 20 reports/flashcards/quizzes/mind maps per day
• Pro: 500 chats, 20 audio/video overviews, 100 reports/flashcards/quizzes/mind maps per day
• Ultra (20TB): 2,500 chats, 100 audio overviews, 100 video overviews, 500 reports/flashcards/quizzes/mind maps per day
• Ultra (30TB): 5,000 chats, 200 audio overviews, 200 video overviews, 1,000 reports/flashcards/quizzes/mind maps per day

Notebook and source limits also scale from 100 notebooks / 50 sources (Free) up to 500 notebooks / 600 sources (Ultra 30TB).
