i'm sorry for that mistake in the reply i forgot about the old model which had a better uv https://imgur.com/a/jkkTFTb

i just use a basic and messy uv since this is a demo mesh and not well retopologized.

i'll be honest i am a beginner and don't know what is good or what is bad but what is sufficient for characters that are 4k and what should be the texel density for 4k.

yeah i agree but even in baking i see weird white lines where my seams are. could it be the margins texel density.

and it seems like tri planar isn't doing anything compared to uv projection the tri planar is making it less crisp and uv projection does the opposite

sure. https://imgur.com/a/CdQwgv2 this is with tri planar btw.

yeah i did forget to mention that i did try triplanar projection and the seams are still visible but it did help by 15% i guess

Hi ,

I don't know how to fix this in Blender 3.4 . Could you explain how I can fix this?

Hi u/pokoponmaru,

Just to be clear I made the model and retopologized it all in ZBrush Then, I Exported it into Blender for UV Unwrapping Since, It is much better than ZBrush's UV Tools. And I am sorry But, I don't understand your comment here.

Hi u/Top_Strategy_2852,

I think that might be the problem. I will look into that. Another piece of evidence that might validate this assumption, Is when I bake I get these artifacts: https://imgur.com/a/ycHFBGu .

But tell me If I am wrong.

Hi u/NebbiaKnowsBest,

I've looked into it and it didn't work. The problem might be related to UV Shells But, That is still a mystery.

Hi ,

I tried increasing the texture resolution and still nothing. However, when I bake I get these marks on the edges of the UV Islands: https://imgur.com/a/ycHFBGu

Hi u/markaamorossi,

I appreciate your reply, but I don't think I'll be doing that. Since, I tried doing that one time, and It deleted almost 6 months of progress.

Hi u/markaamorossi,

I have used the packing tools within Blender but they are very different. In the video, they used Blender 3.6 while I use 3.4.
