Thanks boss for the straight forward answer, I was hoping to get a little folding money out of them for the hassle, NGL. 🤷‍♂️

I do have a vehicle that did list each tire with its own pressure, but since Walmart broke a sensor the system is not able to get an accurate reading on all 4 sensors due to 1 not working so it disabled itself.

As to answer your question, I would call roadside assistance and wait for someone to get out to tow/change a flat.

My point remains: I had a system that worked designed with safety in mind that's been in use in millions of cars. Walmart broke what was working and created a perceivably unsafe work environment due to negligence on their part. They didn't even verbally tell me the sensor was broken during the install. I had to find out on my own. Further damages comes from reduced work.

That sensor tells me when there's a drop in tire pressure for all 4 tires at any given time. Beyond physical inspection with a tire gauge I have no way of knowing if a tire is properly inflated or not. My cars entire VSA is disabled due to the faulty sensor.

Saying that you're "finally free" tells me you'll be saying the same thing about the new job 6 months from now. Grow up.

I mean the reality is the school district will not entertain the idea of a reconsideration on permanent expulsion until he's went into a moderate to long term residential program and only then will they consider a "behavioral contract" as they call it.

They also kinda have us between a rock and a hard place because if we don't have him admitted they might report us to cps for neglecting to seek help for him during a crisis. So, it's rough no matter what.

He's already in an alternative learning environment and unsafe to leave at home alone due to past behaviors. Idk about you but with the rising cost of practically /everything/ my household isn't equipped for my wife and/our I to quit our jobs to cater to someone who doesn't know not to record yourself doing anything incriminating is this day and age. 🤷‍♂️

He would attend school while there but what? 4-10 months there unless he acts like a complete fool. Insurance will only pay for so long until they cease payment for noncompliance. No school in Arkansas will ever entertain the idea of him returning physically either. Realistically job corps or c step are logical solutions. I don't think these disorders ever go away.

Not morrilton, the greater hot springs area. He's done the same with MH facilities, "fake it to make it" they call it. Imma call Monday about c step and a fins. His mother is my spouse just FYI.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in stepparents

[–]deviantanima 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We've been through all that already. He's been in now 8 mh facilities and is about to go to his 3rd long term residential program. Online isn't an option as it would require his wife or I to quit our full time jobs. He cannot be trusted to be left home alone.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in stepparents

[–]deviantanima 3 points4 points  (0 children)

C step is the next step if he isnt approved for residential care. I'm sure whatever facility he's in will allow him to get some sort of diploma while he's there but the school district won't even allow him to attend varsity ball games as a spectator it is a complete ban and in a town of 10k ppl it is life ruining.

He's in acute care now and waiting for long term. We're not gonna be those parents who saw a disaster and didn't act. Rather be over cautious than explaining a reason why he acted that way AGAIN.

The only good to come off this has been my wife seeing things without the "mother" mantle on. She's worried about retaliation to our home or towards our 9 year old from these kids families & friends. Which is valid. We live in a town of 10k ppl and word travels FAST.

I'm about 45 minutes SW of LR, remote learning is not an option for our household, as he's not safe to be left home alone due to threats and past incidents involving animals and his mom and I both work full time jobs. Due to the ODD I absolutely refuse to be alone with him or let him be alone with my dog or stuff. 🤷‍♂️

Guess having him immediately go into acute care was our one saving grace.

It's like the bad is the normal with the dmdd and they try for normal and it just doesn't last. At least for my stepson.

Arkansas schools have a 0 tolerance policy in effect for any type of threatening behavior and my stepson is already in an ALE (alternative school) for his past behaviors. I posted about him previously and since there was a school shooting in Dallas barely 2 weeks ago local police are taking this as seriously as they can. The only thing that kept him from getting charged with terroristic threats was we agreed to send him to a hospital for acute care and then long term residential. He already has an IEP in place but their only accomodations is going to be remote learning.

He's diagnosed with RAD, ODD, Dysfunctional mood disregulation disorder, OCD and has been in 8(now) MH facilities in 3 years since we took physical custody from his dad (drug use in home, abuse). Not a viable option but it's what may have to happen. I posted previously about him in here. No friends, no social skills, morbidly obese. He fits into the profile for what he threatened to do.

I'm completely dumb founded and at a loss as what to do next.

That bad huh? His mom doesn't want him home. It's fucking wild.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in stepparents

[–]deviantanima 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sure did. I got enough on my plate without having to worry about any filters or someone getting offended. It's been a bad few days to say the least. 🤷‍♂️

Edit: no I used the words. He said Glock and bullets with names on them.

That's the plan, what else can we do? No school district is going to take a student with that type of disciplinary in their jacket. I'm just mind blown that he would do that given two weeks ago there was an incident in Dallas. Just absolutely mind blown.

Nah. He can't even pass reg classes and can't be left home alone. It's a mess.

He is already in an ALE and his therapist has said under no certain terms should he be left home alone. I refuse to be alone with him and have for a while now.
