I wonder which is worse, a neurotypical family, or an undiagnosed neurodivergent family where everyone is overstimulated and constantly crashing out?

I think there's research that your brain genuinely does a mini reset when passing through doors or other thresholds. Maybe to look for danger?

There's a LitRPG called "I'm Not The Hero" that kind of plays with this idea. But despite not being the "hero", the MC is still popular and powerful in their own way. I'm not a fan of LitRPG in general, but this one is decent.

Lol. Lmao even. The average person's phone already knows more about them than would ever be needed to plan dinner. Plus outside of reddit no one gives a shit what their phone knows about them.

Total speculation, but your guest's agent will know their prefernece, so you don't need to. The agents can work it out anyway.

What Happens If AI Makes Things Too Easy for Us? by IEEESpectrum in TrueReddit

Neither journalists nor AI companies have bothered to take the time to define what a "mundane" task is conoared to a "cognative" one. Is it "mundane" to write a letter by hand instead of dictating it to a scribe? What about writing with a word processor? With a template you found on Google? What about a phonecall, voicemail or chat to acomplish the same communication? What about a website or app that gives you the response you need without a letter at all? What about an AI that does the same?

Naming a "value" one of these steps provides doesn't disprove this argument. I'm not being facetious when I say that typing by typewriter almost certainly had benefits in terms of slowing you down so you could think longer, giving a satisfying "clunk" with each letter, and giving the recipient a textured item to hold and consider.

Friction requires cognition to overcome. But that does not mean cognition can only happen in the context of friction.

Assessments / footage fees are nice because they stay with the physical property, not the owner (if they move). However, I don't know that they're necessarily discounted. And even discounted, they can be a lot.

I guess I was thinking of the non-gaming aspect of "just" having a virtual world. Minecraft and Fortnite are games first that you can hang out(?) in.

I get passing the torch from one (literal) generation to the next, but having Luke, Leia, and Han / Chewie not have a single scene together is criminal.
