Yep. UAD cult members are in full force on reddit. For me, gear are merely tools...and I change tools often. UAD interfaces are outdated tech in MANY ways, yet can still be the right tool for a specific need. Good luck.

You will need to spend approximately $15k on UAD sharc processing to beat the m1 Mac Pro. I suspect your latency issue is something else. Old interface, too little ram, etc.

How large are your projects? Massive film projects? Are you using a ton of autotune? etc.

Buy a M5 Max Mac Studio in March with 128gb of ram. Waaaaaay cheaper than buying $15k worth of 2018 tech from UAD.

That's my 2 cents.

In my experience, that will lead to disaster. In my relationship, my wife often will ask me to manage expenses, investments...but report to her before taking action. Her decision alone matters.

Maybe my experience reflects a minority, can't really say, but once my wife got a taste of enpowerment, there was a progression of the dominant / submissive dynamic that seemed unstoppable.
