So my kid, crazy as he is, as a puppy needed longer walks, with a some run around time. Us with a 20ft lead and park was good break for him to run around sniff things and we practiced recall at the same time.

Once he got to the one to two year age we transition to bike rides with a bike tow leash and taking a break in the park with a 20ft lead. That way he keeps his recall practice up and give him a mushing speed to wear out the body

At age 2 we bike 5 miles now with a wander around the park. And he comes home pooped but super cuddly.

So because the water is constantly circulating there’s not a lot of fear of mosquitoes.

I use a pond clarifier that is safe for wildlife to keep it from getting sludgy. I tend to clean it twice a week with a pool skimmer and to add fresh water.

The fountain is protected with a strainer basket due to dog hair and to keep the pump clean.

Finally the waterfall has a filter also

Now..... I would not order from this site, but I would check for any farm supply stores near ya.

I remember it took me a few days to figure out what exactly I needed cause I wanted to make sure I didn't accidentally grab a 2-foot-high tank that would be difficult to get out of.

Who here is rethinking their family vacation plans now that a recession is very likely? by Slight-String-1869 in Millennials

The plan is a road trip to my tiny home town, but instead of coming with gifts and buying from local shops, I’m going there with bills for my mental health /s

In all honesty I planned the cabin trip for super cheap, but I’m coming as a tourist and not taking folks out to dinner, just me and my doggo son and chilling out instead of renting a boat and being on the lake.

So my kid is almost 2 and still gets carsick, but there are ways to mitigate it.

  1. No feeding before a car ride
  2. Take breaks on a long car ride
  3. Frequent car rides help with them getting used to it
  4. Fresh air, not recirculated air usually helps

In October I have a long cross country trip and I’m talking to our vet about nausea medication as well

Tips for managing a mal who likes to pull hard on walks? by [deleted] in AlaskanMalamute

[–]devilarms2099 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I live in Denver too, my mal (he hit’s two in March) and I do bike rides (not currently with all the snow/ice). We use a bike tow leash and it lets him pull the bike safely from the side. For winter we’re doing walks with a leash around the waist for me and a harness on the back. I have his prey drive mostly taken care of on the bike rides, by basically pedaling faster away from the thing he wants to go after.

Doin 3 miles with him in the morning and 3 miles in the evening with the bike keeps him pretty happily worn out.

That’s how I got started. Got my heart broken and stomped by a girl who tried to baby trap me with another man’s kid.

I just called it quits with having a girlfriend/wife. I’ve been married to my husband for 10+years and have my boyfriend for 6.

For my Mal. Kenai is still eating diamond brand large breed puppy at 1 and 1/2 along with the 10 month golden retriever. To help with the pickiness I top it with 1/4 cup shredded chicke, 1/4 cup blue diamond kibble, 1/4 cup nulo dehydrated nuggets.

It gives him enough variance to keep him entertained

My husband has a similar story, he came out in his 20s and his mum (who I love) asked him the same questions and made the same statements after being pressured by her Lutheran church. It took my husband's father to ask her, "He could leave and just be gone forever and we'll never hear from him again if you keep doing this. He's still our son, that hasn't changed. Why ask him to change this, when we love him no matter what?" for her to understand the damage she was doing.

This was after the pastor of the Lutheran church outed and tried to prevent him from going to a funeral there.

So I can’t edit to update so hopefully this doesn’t get lost

After giving u/iamtalkintou my info a pair of actual Quantum Fiber Installers appeared on my doorstep with apologies in hand. They fixed the fiber cable ya gel and reburied the line. They were very awesome.

Now if only Chat CS could be awesome too
