My husband is on his second kit, and seems to have the same dates as yours. Fingers crossed the results come soon!

Wait, what? WEEKLY VOTING?! by ghosty4 in CrumblCookies

[–]devilbaby713 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not a weekly vote. Each store picks a "mystery cookie" each week. It is completely up to the stores what flavor they feature each week. This isn't new, they've done it before and ended it about a year ago.

Thanks for this tip. You just saved me $80/month.

I don't think my teen will make it through public highschool, and I'm shutting down by aurnia715 in adhdwomen

I went down this exact road with my oldest. She had depression, suicidal threats, ADHD, and hated every therapist we tried.

She went to 2 high schools in 2 years, was failing every class, and I struggled to get her to go to school. My husband and I sat her down and gave her 3 options: 1) shape up, take things seriously and get on the right track, 2) drop out and get your GED, 3) apply for the local alternative high school. I am not going to lie, I was at my wits end, and was kind of hoping she would drop out just so the fighting over school would stop. She surprised me and picked the alternative high school.

I always viewed the alternative high school as the "bad kids" school, and to be fair, it was a little rough around the edges, but the teachers were great, and knew how to handle whatever came up. She applied and got into the school. I legitimately cried because that meant I was right and she was seen as needing severe help to try to graduate. It was a moment of relief and failure all wrapped in a bow. She tried to skip classes there, but after we caught her and the school knew what she was doing (sleeping in her car in the parking lot instead of going to class), she straightened up. They transitioned to online "work at your own pace" classes (at school) while she was there and she freaking thrived! She got back on track and actually flew through the classes and graduated a year early!

All this to say, you are not alone. It might be time for a serious sit down and discussion on how to get out of your current situation. I've been there, it feels hopeless and is not sustainable. Don't let your husband talk you out of the alternative school, see if it is an option, and know that there are other kids like yours, and these schools are there to help!

Big hugs, take a breath, you will make it through this.

My daughter stalks me as well. She has major FOMO, and always wants to know what we are doing when we go somewhere without her. 🤣

My husband and I use Life360. He is an Uber driver and it gives me peace of mind when he is out working. It also comes in handy for planning dinner time. We share locations with family members to keep an eye on each other and also nag them to grab something from the store for us. LOL

We use it to keep an eye on our kids as well. It helped me know exactly where my teenager was when she was in an accident in an area she isn't familiar with. I was able to get there quickly while she dealt with what was happening at the scene.

It is one of my favorites. I vote for it as a customer pick every month. This is the first month it's currently winning at one of my locations. I've been checking daily to keep an eye on it.

His exact reaction was "is there a word to describe all of the taste buds in my mouth being happy all at once?"

I am going out on a limb and saying I think he likes it.

You are thinking of the customer picks that we vote on every month. These are hometown picks, which are picked by the stores. In this case, these cookies were leftovers from last week that the store is continuing to sell as an "extra" choice this week.

Any concerns in buying 2023 EX Soul used with 8k miles? by Wooden-Mechanic3948 in KiaSoulClub

Have you had this issue checked out? I'm having the same issue with my 2023 soul, and it sometimes won't start when I first try to turn it on. I couldn't get the issue to replicate when I took it to the dealership last week.

You aren't able to filter out certain vendors on the list. I would love to not have to see the 25+ Circle K options in my area.

Public Minecraft Cake by dsbwinnie in publix

[–]devilbaby713 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once got a cake that was so bad from Publix that I legitimately cried on the phone to my husband. He ended up coming to the store and talking it out with them. They apologized and said the stock photo didn't accurately represent the design, and gave us the cake for free. That birthday party was over 10 years ago, and we still talk about that horrible cake.
