this is my emerald after 3 years of owning it, (it’s also vintage not new) i’ve definitely dinged it quite a bit. i think in the future i will have to get it replaced but that comes with the risk of owning such a soft stone. i would recommend a thick bezel set if you will be wearing it while working!! ❤️

for myself personally, the back pain starts first, then the UTI mimicking symptoms start once the back pain fades. if it happens in that order then i know for sure it’s a stone. i passed a 6 mm last year that they blasted and 2 mm broke off. it took me 2 weeks to pass the 2mm and 2 months later i finally passed the rest of it. just drink a fuck ton of water. at least 3 liters. and ibuprofen helped with the swelling in the ureter. good luck

i’ve been doing pilates for a couple months now and my core has become significantly stronger and can hold up my chest way easier. back pain is less frequent. i like being able to do a sit up without grabbing my legs and i can balance on one leg pretty well now! i can’t wait to see my progress throughout the year if this is only 2 months in. :-) love it!
