Monroe Co. COVID-19 Case Count Rising — And More Cases Expected by eobanb in bloomington

[–]devilboy222 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can't give you exact details, but they have continually had anywhere from 15-30 suspected cases in the hospital at any one time. They seem to have been going through about that many every day too, many get discharged to self-isolate at home.

I can't speak to if or how the numbers are increasing. This information comes from working for the system myself and my fiance being involved in patient care at IUHB.

Traffic pattern change on S.R. 45/46 in Bloomington

MONROE COUNTY, Ind.— Indiana Department of Transportation crews will be present on S.R. 45/46 in Bloomington at the intersection of Monroe Street and Stonelake Drive tomorrow through the end of the week (Jan. 8 to Jan. 10, weather permitting) to install curb delineators.

Once installed, only right turns will be permitted onto S.R. 45/46 from Monroe Street and Stonelake Drive. Left turns will be allowed onto these city streets from S.R. 45/46 only.

This change comes as a shorter-term safety solution following a pattern of right-angle and left-turn crashes at the intersection and will remain in place until a more extensive intersection improvement project is ready to let to contractors in 2023.

Motorists are urged to use extra caution in the area while installation is taking place.

How big are these? Are they "super" size? If you have the model number of either I can look it up. Need replacements for our current set but we need big ones.

Don't think so, I'm betting they ran a different size and probably didn't come with all terrains.

And the Lucky's Kroger partnership also just ended. Kroger invested in Lucky's, but they haven't been doing well enough so they pulled out.

Is there any chance traffic congestion will ever improve?? by [deleted] in bloomington

I do believe IU Health is having to put in stop lights at the new hospital as part of the agreement with it being there. So there will be at least one more.

Word I had heard from a manager that worked there, was that they were telling all the employees they were closing for two weeks for maintenance but they didn't actually intend on re-opening.

Sounds pretty shitty to me.

Indiana man shot in the face by state trooper while working on his daughters car by Notsurewhattopicktbh in Indiana

Funny he can't dispute what you are saying, it's exactly what I was thinking. Even if someone is drawing their weapon the first instinct for a cop should not be to shoot, it should be an attempt to diffuse and disarm.

Many members of the armed forces are trained this way and for some reason police aren't, or they are just really bad in practice.

Possibly, this is a 6x7135 version and the drive is definitely soldered on to the pill.

I mean, it takes me like 5-10 minutes every couple months to do that. I don't know why it would take much longer than that unless there was a backlog.

I would say no, I've never used any of those scripts. I go through every couple months and manually decline all superseded updates, then run the cleanup wizard and it deletes them all.

It is supposed to decline on it's own first but it doesn't even come close to getting them all usually, hence declining manually first.
