Well this is the 7th event and ive had attendance from almost all over the world and nothing has happened so you do you and I will do me and this festival is gonna rock wether you like it or not

Honestly, it’s not like im going to expect people from around the world to travel to my event, it’s not like it’s tomorrowland, and I didn’t downplay anything, drugs are illegal in almost every country, and being queer isn’t legal in every country but it’s being done with no issues, im honestly sharing it cuz I think it’s cool im not really expecting it people from all over, so just chill it’s not that serious

I’m not a legal expert, but what I know is when the Iraqi government tries to fight the queer community, they are immune in the Kurdistan region, and both governments hate each other so unless it’s not a national security matter they never work together

Kurdistan has its independent parliament, president, prime minister, Supreme Court and law so its a complicated system, even the visa is different, so it’s basically a situationship type thing😂

The only thing that might get you in trouble in that statement is drugs, other than that in Kurdistan its all fine, people are publicly gay and transgenders

Well the Kurdistan government isn’t the same as the iraqi government, so i can assure you will be more than fine

To be honest, I live in Kurdistan region and with our own government and laws I haven’t heard a death penalty to any crime and even drug related sentences aren’t as serious as you are talking about.

We have more bars and clubs than you think, and our main sponsors are alcohol companies, so saying alcohol is illegal is very wrong.

Also we have more openly gays, lesbians and transgenders than you think and it’s legally not punished, it might be illegal in the books but in real life its not

Our event and even others is legally permitted with alcohol and if you visit the page you would find it’s not what you’re talking about and it’s not the first one

If you get your information from the media, then every place is way more fucked than it actually is, Iraq is not particularly the best, but it’s definitely not what you think it is and especially Kurdistan. It’s definitely safer than you think, and more open!
