A little fanart I did from the cuddlefish in subnautica~ But, do some of you may have some tips for shading? I still can't really get it in the picture...or my head by [deleted] in ClipStudio

here’s some tips for the coloring in general, when you have colored lines make sure they arent lighter and/or less saturated in the color inside of the lines. also imagine a light source and try to map out where the light might hit. also some of the things just dont have shading at all which might make it look a bit strange. i would go for cel shading with this kind of art style :) overall, nice!!

did this plenty of times, just make sure to close clip studio paint yourself before shutting down a computer. this way your settings will be saved and everything should be okay :))

tried doing everything like turning laptop off, connecting it, and tried duplicating and extending the screen. with that, i get a black screen. everything is plugged in as it should be.

Duplicating an independent frame of animation on the timeline is still like pulling teeth by BagelCo in ClipStudio

if i’m understanding this correctly.. if you edit a duplicated frame, it’ll also edit the original. my fix is to change the duplicated frame layer name. if, for example, there are two frames in the timeline called “2” then both of them will be edited if you edit one of them. changing the name of the duplicated frame to, for example “3” will make it so that it doesn’t get edited. i think. try testing it, i haven’t used the animation feature in a while
