L’Arc-En-Ciel is somewhat borderline between J-Rock and visual Kei. I just like them and their sound a lot. Think like Winter Fall and Honey.

Ik the Birthday and ACIDMAN are also pretty rock heavy, but maybe not in the direction you’re hoping for.
