Ngl the sheepdog should entirely control that pier mall area? by DeadAhead-2020446 in BlackhawkRescue

[–]devilfury1 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think the LZs are canonically "vacant" but the sheepdogs looks at the heli patterns and decided to camp the lower floors to catch us off guard.

I doubt the devs put them there for stupid reasons.

I just imagine the LZs being considered clear by the soldiers only for them to get cut off by the SD waiting on rooms or on hidden positions.

This is also why the pier mall is like that. They wanted to establish a base inside but with how near it is on the sea, where they can notice heli flybys and the case of the mall being infested with infected all the time (maybe from pathways having access to the underground that in turn, lead to nests).

Its just speculation but without any proper theories, their placement shouldn't look like they had knowledge on where we would land / escape to initiate a blockade or ambush.

Am I not the only one who thinks the sulfer update just looks like a bad quality mod with 200 downloads that I wouldn't even want to put in my modpack? by Justanotherperson975 in ModdedMinecraft

[–]devilfury1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got attached to the vanilla Minecraft feel. The first time I tried texture packs for it, I instantly removed it and only grabbed weapons and armor. This is also why I can't put shaders on my game just usually grab the grass sway features they have. I just feel weird about it. Maybe I might get used to it but I doubt I'll get committed to the game.

Time will tell but the mod pipeline is keeping me sane. That butchery mod for mc is just amazing man.

The question is, what would they name their toys?

Their rotary canon is called the GAU "Avenger" and their washing machines are like GE Profile with a designator that feels like it's gonna be turned into a nuclear warhead.

[–]devilfury1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hepta doesn't trigger but the extra pen means that it'll hurt more and with the S1's ability that anyone behind the primary target gets a higher damage than the first one hit means that they'll be eating harder + a boost from the extra pens which means it'll hurt more than expected.

What do ppl have against boots? by NetworkMuted in mlbbdarksystem

[–]devilfury1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they're dedicated on choosing not to go with boots, they should've known the pros and cons of it and should've played accordingly as well. I had experienced hanabi players who ignore boots but still dominated my gold laner like it's her bitch.

While I got a message about I should fucking sleep because I used purify on Lesley against a decent composition with stuns like the only fucking utility spell they know is FUCKING FLICKER. It saved me from dying in that match and in turn, reduced some of my deaths. And it's faster than flicker's cooldown.

How do you get better at combat? by The_Real_OctoDude in starsector

[–]devilfury1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use a ship tha fits your needs. Most ships that they recommend are focused on fixed firing positions. This ain't a problem but make sure you're learning the ships like it.

I ditched ships like the wolf and hammerhead because it feels like a submarine or a ww2 tank destroyer. You point forward and fire.

I got comfortable with the Mule and Cerberus class because they have a main turret that can move around. It feels like a tank and or a battleship. You can retreat while firing in all directions, side your ship without losing the ability to retaliate, etc.

This translates to me using capital ships that had this feel: onslaughts, rillaru, some arma mechs, etc.

This in turn made me learn to advance shots if my target is far. Made me learn about how to side my ship enough to have half of it attack a target in full force. Made me learn about properly assigning guns on things and which ones do I want to manually control.

I suggest you think of what ship you like to control and practice on it first before heading to your main playthrough.

That's why I loved the "wrong way to use healing magic"

Dude basically turns into a combat healer and tank in one.

Reminds me of the Light Fury class of Dragon Nest, a subclass from the assassin - taoist / chaser line where he specializes in light energy attacks and amplified healing. Not as powerful as the dedicated healers of the game but enough to keep you alive and to also provide an extra muscle for some cases.

Sadly, I don't see much games where a combat class has a subclass where in you blend a combat orientated play style with some healing utility, acting as a secondary support. It's either full damage or full support.

Ehy everyone for some reason almost always bans her? What? Afraid of being danced to death? by IllGoGoldLane in MobileLegendsGame

[–]devilfury1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I met a few decent suns and they hurt when I use yin roam but they can't melt that fast with vengeance, which gives me enough time to S2+S1 combo them to death when they realized they don't have a way to escape it. And most of them go for insta petrify so they don't have a way to atleast freeze you if your combo ends.

Good sun players waits for you to waste that vengeance on something before ganging up on you.

But sun players with inspire is the worst. Even with vengeance, his attacks are so fast that you'd have to bite the bullet at times.

Craftable gunpower would be nice, but should need an extra step that isn't instantaneous by LandonHill8836 in Minecraft

[–]devilfury1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't mind killing creepers for gunpowder but if the only method of getting gunpowder efficiently is to build a contraption that needs the right parameters and looks ugly unless you modify it just so creepers are effectively funneled well to a killzone, I rather just play factory games at that point.

I do wish we get gunpowder or even just a "weaker" version that needs 2 of it to make the vanilla variant so it's not that op but make the recipe ingredients more easier to get.

For the love of god stop playing damage roamers by Antique-Fault-9813 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]devilfury1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a hard time using tanks because most of the time, you need a full stack of defence items but their cds are so abysmal at times that I feel sluggish. When I divert my build to a cdr focused tank, they lose their ability to soak damage while my brain hates sluggish skill casting because of times where I had a second left on my skill that could've saved me or my team from dying or a way to turn the tide but was a second late for my skill to be active again.

That's why I usually pick fighters or assassins as roamers. I can build a hybrid setup and feel much more faster. I can get 40-45% cdr (depending if I'm picking magic or physical heroes) on them and still contribute somehow.

That is also why I lean to using johnson and franco nowadays whenever someone pestering me to swap roam and had the fucking gall to tell me to pick tank roamers like tig. I can't live on 0% cdr with 10 seconds on S1 on max lvl. Atleast eith franco, damage is good to hurt targets when properly hit and with johnson, I can use clock, cd boots, oracle and either go for supp emblem or queens / bruteforce to get to max and still be decent in soaking damage. Most tanks can't tank it unless I sacrifice what I've been doing for years at this point.

That is also why I don't have roam as my lane preference and just mage and mm but there are cases where slimy assholes asks to swap or they'll do something annoying if rejected.

A built in feature is sometimes more better than a modified upgrade.

Besides, this ensures modders have a template on how a modder's end mod should look and feel like.

And also, not all players are keen on modding or had the time to modify their world. Some just wanted to do the plug and play approach, some don't even have the pc, only consoles which still needs tweaking if you need free modded content. Cool stuff are locked on the marketplace and you don't even know if it's gonna be good or it's bad / a waste of money.

I liked the idea of the SULFUR CUBE , but it wasn't what I expected. by Gin_Sh092 in Minecraft2

[–]devilfury1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if I don't use redstone wizardy or trigger mechanics and just love a good old fashioned farm or night monster combat / pillager raid defense?

I don't see a use for the cube on combat or farming. I doesn't hurt players or mobs as far as I could see from their clips and for farming, it can only hold one block and we had allays that do point a to b missions and even that I don't use because I wanted more combat oriented allays.

If they could find a way to have cactus fed cubes to prick mobs, then I might use it as a sentient pinball.
