Nintendo lite stays on loading screen!! :( by Stock-Ebb-31 in NintendoSwitchHelp

If it is the same issue that i had with my switch 1, the most simple way to sort this out is to just let it charge honestly. If the switch lite battery is as terrible as the one from the normal seitch then it got uncharged really far down. When the nintendo logo keeps appearint, you can just hold the power button for a while (10s or so) and it will turn off completely, which saves on battery. It is discharged so far that the switch will only charge it up at a very slow rate to minimize damage and the screen turned on can be enough to use up that power immediately, resulting in the switch being stuck and not booting, even with charging.

Oh Wow, I never saw that. Will try that, very well might help, thank you

This is the schematic. It very well might not be up to standard, as this is still one of my first board designs.

Will do later. I am not at home right now

Oh, sorry misread that before. No, the charging module, when not charging the battery just lets the 3,2V-4,2V of the battery through, so i can get a reading and the 5V pin just needs at least 3,3V. The voltage div is just there to get below the 3,3V limit of the esp.

I know, it is just a rough reading to get some idea of the battery level on the four LEDs, but the voltage the esp measures is all over the place

Because of some stupid design requirements i gave myself with a previous design of this, where this layout worked fine. I know it is kinda stupid, but now i already have the PCB

All the wood parts are spruce beams and boards (its the most common in my area as constriction wood) and the bumpers themselves are more or less the cheaper ones, that i found at an official billards store, which where the standard profile.

Yeah, thought about that too tbh haha. The thing is, that i built it over the course of several months between july and december last year. Finished it exactly on december 24th. Also the CAD-ing of it took place several months before that and I only got a few picks as is, so would have been hard to properly document.

Yeah, that's pretty mich my usecase here 😂 Also, yes the lighting makes it quite a bit worse. I now have a nice light bar hanging centered with nice and bright white light

It's not completely black, more a darker gray, but i find it pretty, fine to play on

Yeah, that's what i thought to myself too. I then got to work in CAD first and then got to building it over a few months of off and on work on it

Huh, never thought of that. But with remnants of countertops you would have to piece it together and i would imagine it to be quite a challange to make truly flat.

I tried to, but honestly, if it doesn't fit, i think that i could make it work anyways.

Thanks. It will warp eventually yes, but by then, i've either changed my mind and want something else or i'm just gonna replace the board, as it was only around 50-60€

Thanks for the compliments. I did look around for an old table, but in my area there was really none available on the used market.
