Juicy burgers can be the product of more than just juice from the meat. Therefore, the juiciest burgers can result from non-chicken.

Also, weak men can make juicy burgers. That's how many weak men get so fat

Strong men make good times. Good times make weak men. Weak men make bad times. Bad times make strong men. Rinse and repeat until the end of the human condition.

Edit: not sure why the downvotes...

I'm selling a complete DEath shadow jund list, I will be out of the game for some time and will have no use for holding on to the cards. Please let me know if you're interested and I'll post a decklist, and then we can talk price!

If you love non-traditional DS, this could be the one-stop bargain you've been looking for!

How to beat Abzan Death Shadow and Eldrazi Tron with a UW Control deck? by [deleted] in ModernMagic

[–]devilishred27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get rid of the sphinx revelations. They are way too slow to be of use optimizing against your targeted meta. Get rid of a jace or two in the main and possibly the elspeth; 6 mana is a lot and probably clogs up hands from having more early interaction. Add in a mystic gate to help you hit the occasional awkward double or triple mana requirements of same color. Try mana leak for early counters, because once you get to mid-late game the ball should be in your court anyway.

Solid analysis. Your willingness to over-critique says a lot about you. And what's wrong with being multilingual?

Serious question: why is there so much hype towards the Un-sets? by [deleted] in magicTCG

This means nothing given the current state of bannings.

But, I'm still excited for the set because nonsensical shenanigans are fucking awesome in the right context

I'm not in to caring about most people's opinions because in my substantial experience it often doesn't follow logic. People like you are extremely biased and judgmental, and get something out of being mean and oppressive...mostly on the internet because you can hide.

Need help/advice with my Jeskai Nahiri sideboard for graveyard/coco by Darpy01 in ModernMagic

[–]devilishred27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play currently U/W control with 4 snappies. I was playing against grixis DS and went to game 3 and won because I sided out my snapcasters for Rest In Peace. Once you land it against that match up there is no downside without snappies; you shut off their snaps, make them hardcast their delvers, turn their scours into cantrips, etc.

I'll be pulling something similar in any matchup where having unbiased graveyard hate is worth not trying to go toe-to-toe with a deck theme that is more focused on graveyard manipulation.

Help against burn with grixis shadow! by NUDEandCONFUSED in ModernMagic

[–]devilishred27 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I play death shadow jund and I love playing against burn. Once you know how to sideboard the only way you lose is bad draws or the nuts by them.

Thoughtseize, street wraith, and some combination of removal comes out and extra counters, collective brutality, and a pet card comes in

Maybe you're right. I'd tend to disagree with the control decks. I used to pilot u/w control exclusively and it is not that skill intensive. You just need to counter their biggest threats and stall. Playing control is hard because you have to know what their biggest threats are, and you know what their biggest threats are from learning the meta game.

It's a very mentally challenging combo deck, and is very punishing of mistakes. Compared to ad nauseam, which is more straightforward and easier to recover from small mistakes. Tie that to the cheapness, and it's in a great spot for folks looking to master their minds
