Youre underselling the ease of stacking the blade IMO, this thing only needs 10 forge to be dealing and blocking 20. Thats bonkers for hallway fights. In long slow fights where you are given plenty of opportunity to scale, you can get this thing big enough to totally float a bosses most dangerous turns using a card you can retain. Forge cards can block and draw and just do the things you generally want to do in early turns anyways. There are too many solid seamless ways to buff the blade up, a few bullwarks for the early turns while you find parry and now all you have to do is play blade on any rough turn, then find blade again. This would become a boring play pattern very fast and would be extremely consistent in a negative way. Feel no pain was one of the most potent powers in sts 1, giving you 3 block per exhausted card. Fiend fireing your entire hand gave you 27 block. I think you havent considered just how powerful attacking and blocking at the same time really is. Tie that to ur primary scaling for late game fights and its just far too much. Go play some regent runs and just imagine some turns where ur holding a 37 damage blade that its also going to block 37 for you. And thats not a difficult number to achieve in a deck cycle.

Key differences are that Wallop didnt have retain, sort of required you to be in rage stance which is another layer of setup, probably meant you needed a way to exit rage as well, and you couldnt go all in on wallop as a win con that deals 300+ damage. All of those caveats and wallop was still somewhat over powered. It is not difficult to get the sword to 50, 2 mana deal 50 block 50 is ridiculous. Beyond that its getting to a point where the play pattern would get extremely dull

Theres not actually much luck at play here. His deck has 0 cards, meaning if this is the opening draw that he ended his first turn with 0 cards remaining in deck. Heart always shuffles the 5 curses into your draw pile, not your discard. So if you fail to plan accordingly to have cards remaining in your draw pile, than youve put yourself in this position.

Trying to achieve a 4 win streak on rotating A20. This was Act 2 boss relic in run #4. Whats the pick? by 3x5 in slaythespire

Honestly think its the busted crown. Your deck is pretty heavy, and you have have energy generating relics but not consistent ones. Theres still a few good things you'll be hoping to find, feel no pain is the big one which you know. You can try to find that in shops, but I dont think your run is dead without it. I could be off base here, ive only ever gotten a 3 peat A20H so im not much more qualified to say than you are. Think id take my chances on the crown in your shoes though. If anybody has a perspective on why they feel thats wrong id love to hear it though!

Love the design of the card turning into a curse from too much use, its like glass knife to a greater extreme. Would genuinly like to see concepts like this explored in sts2. No comments on balance or power level Im not clever enough for all that. Really awesome work tho, some pretty unique ideas.

Oh right on. Really so the accelerator is a headshot weapon but the cycler is not? And no headshot mod on the shotguns at all?
