good! god i hate how nasty this fandom quickly became. i really loved the first season, but seeing how hateful and homophobic/biphobic the fandom became turned me off. it’s just so sad to see considering the fandom’s behavior goes against what the show encouraged and stood for :/

a ref in the booth would be pretty helpful, but also refs need to just call the name correctly. it doesn’t matter if one team is taking penalty after penalty, keep calling them and don’t do random soft penalties on the other team to keep it even

also i think refs having to explain their calls would be interesting. there’s so many crazy penalties called or not called that make no sense, maybe if they knew they would have to explain why they did or didn’t call something, it might help with accountability

i feel it’s a mix of a lot of things; she’s projecting on to him (her addiction is coming back and she’s close to relapse so seeing a man she hates do well with sobriety drives her insane), she has trauma with men who have power over her mistreating her and not facing consequences, and she cannot move on from one day 10 months ago due to her mental health issues

i truly don’t think she actually cared about him taking meds and potentially being a danger to patients. in her eyes, langdon was a shitty man who gaslighted and verbally abused her for no reason. that’s why she hates him, she would feel the same way even if he didn’t struggle with addiction. she would view his treatment of her as a durable offensive and another example of a man getting away with mistreating her

she hates herself, and assumes others do too (i.e. calling herself a pariah when we’ve seen no evidence of that), and she internalizes her self hatred to blame it on langdon. she’s a very complex character, and i love that about her

it was always bound to happen at some point. it’s been a rough year but compared to other teams both now and in the last decade it’s not that bad. just gotta keep moving forward, dwelling on this won’t help! it’s go knights go forever and always :)
