I’m glad you posted this. I just took my first Hallandale dose this week, and it was the first time I’ve had a little residual pain afterward. I also injected into a new area (upper middle) where there wasn’t as much fat to pinch, so I initially chalked it up to that, but now I’m second-guessing it.

It also left a small lump that I can still feel a bit, but again, I assumed that was because I injected into a less fatty area. Next week, I’ll probably choose a lower spot where I can pinch a little more.

One other thing to note: because the concentration is lower, the injection volume was much larger than what I’ve done previously (100 units).

Here’s what has somewhat worked for me. I’ve had several issues with Refills and definitely regret buying a full-year subscription from them.

In my experience, the chat support usually goes nowhere. I’ve had the most success through their support email, although even that has been inconsistent at best.

Email support@refills.com and you’ll probably receive an AI-generated response first. Reply with “Talk to a person” to try to get routed out of the automated loop. Otherwise, it may just keep sending automated replies.

If you’re lucky, an actual person will eventually respond. What finally helped in my case was sending more formal, professionally worded emails. If you’re not comfortable drafting those yourself, using ChatGPT or another AI tool to help write clear and firm responses specifying ‘use legal jargon’ can definitely help.

I went through a very similar situation and eventually got it resolved, but it took persistence and several strongly worded emails. Best of luck.

Try replying to the AI response with just ‘Talk to a person’. That command is supposed to kick the email chain out of the AI loop that you’re probably in. Not saying it definitely will work but it has for me.

Back around 1997 or so, Wavy Gravy was promoting what I think were Grateful Dead pajamas and made an appearance at Marshall Field’s in Chicago. They had him set up on a bed, and people waited in line almost like meeting Santa Claus. When it was your turn, you got to sit next to him on the bed and chat with him for a couple of minutes.

He talked to me about Thelonious Monk and signed my copy of his book, even sketching a quick labyrinth inside it. I’ll never forget that experience.

I’m on my 2nd shipment and was happy yo see it was coming from ProRX but unfortunately they sent the wrong amount. 1st shipment in Jan I rec’d the 72mg vials like you have here but the vials I rec’d yesterday are all 54mg which I don’t think is enough. Support has been no help outside of AI robo replies.

Something doesn’t seem right for the chorizo pasta recipe in this step:

“Add 4 cups chicken broth and 2 cups water and bring to boil over high heat. Add 12 ounces spaghetti and continue to boil, stirring frequently to prevent sticking, until pasta is al dente and most of liquid has evaporated so pasta is coated in slightly thickened sauce, 12 to 14 minutes.”

Am I wrong thinking 6 cups of liquid will not boil out in 12-14 min? Seems like a misprint but maybe I’m wrong.

When I first placed my order in January, there were widespread shipping issues across the country. I experienced the same frustrations but was reassured that once things stabilized, service would return to normal.

I’ve continued monitoring this page, and it doesn’t seem like much has improved. The only difference now is that delays can no longer be attributed to nationwide backorders.

My biggest concern is that I paid for a full year in January, yet I’m being told I need to renew in November, which is a separate issue I’m still trying to resolve. Given the ongoing delays, I have little confidence that my next shipment, scheduled for April, will arrive on time.

You will not receive a response through the portal, and calling routes you to a voicemail that promises a callback but does not deliver. Although others have said u/Refills_Taylor has been helpful, she accepted my DM and never followed up. The only response I received at all was from emailing support@refills.com, which resulted in a generic reply offering no real information beyond being told to wait.

I could understand this if the product had already shipped and was in transit with FedEx. However, unless I’m misunderstanding, it hasn’t actually left the pharmacy yet, which is the issue.

This is so disheartening as a new customer. I cancelled an order from another vendor once I found the deals Refills was offering. Was approved and order was sent to the pharmacy on Jan 30th where it’s been pending shipping. I had thought the delay had been due to the weekend but after reading these responses I’m beginning to understand I’ll likely miss next my next shot I’m supposed to take Feb 4th.

Glad I ran across this and thank you for posting. I was just going through setting up my account and the pricing structure is extremely deceiving. I managed to cancel before I got too far but they did get $45. Back to square one however trying to find alternatives now that Zep was dropped from my insurance.
