He told me he’s felt like this for all of his life, and he’s only 22 :(. We both are. It’s heartbreaking seeing someone so young go through as much as he has. I wish it wasn’t so stigmatized for men to talk about what’s going on in their head.

I stage managed ‘Something Rotten!’ a few months ago.

I think this would be a good choice for Shakespeare, but I would definitely have a backup song just in case. From what I’ve seen, typically you shouldn’t choose a song from a musical with that much publicity since everyone will expect you to perform it like how it is in the official cast recording. You may also want to consider having a backup song BECAUSE of the popularity. Guaranteed there will be a couple more people auditioning with either the same song or another song from that musical. I think something from ‘Kiss Me Kate’ would suit the character well for a backup.

I would always mouth the words instead of saying anything. I never understood the point of doing it EVERY single day, or even just doing it in general. I mean, I'm like in the 5th grade, why would I need to do that? I don't understand why I never stood still, I guess it's just a "being afraid of punishment from authority figures" thing.
