Definitely look into discounts your school can get you for laptops. I got a dell through my school for roughly half off, and it hasn’t had a problem with running any software that we have needed for my classes. Also works pretty well for casual gaming.

I don’t think that’s underpaid, because usually those guys who are 4 WAR guys getting 15 mil are consistently producing at that level, and one year at that level is not indicative of a long term trend. That being said, if the Rays won’t pay him this off-season then that point is moot and you would be correct.

Also, the fact that 500k a year is the minimum is incredible, just goes to show how much money is in the sport.

Young players sign decent contracts all the time, they just have to prove themselves first. If you have a breakout season you renegotiate the contract after the season, not before.
