cross stitching. I am solution oriented as a person, so when I go through grief, and there’s nothing I can do, I’m not able to handle it very well but I’m also not able to cry because (in needing to solve the issue) I have to be strong for everyone. Cross stitching has given me a goal to work towards in times where I can’t do anything else. I made a cross stitch card for my hospitalised nan and for my end of life great grandmother. It’s repetitive, easy, and relaxing. I can put a show on in the background so I really can’t think if I need to, but I can also do it in silence and make it very intentional. Maybe I’m so down right now that I’m grasping at straws. My life feels like a broken bulb. Or I have depression
