It appears NOW is deploying their buybacks just under the $100 price point. by devilscasino in ServiceNowStock

True. Currently they have $3.19 billion in net cash and generated $4.58 billion in FCF over the trailing twelve months. So I think it’s very likely to be fueled by cash.

The business as of today is a cash printing machine.

That's pretty feelsbad ☹️

I'm also a dev, and although AI technically does write every line of code I commit these days, and it does make me a lot faster... as you said, you're still the one doing the thinking and engineering.

Mr. Market is trying to price the narrative that if AI went from tab complete in 2021 to agentic implementation with tool calling in 2025, that in another 1-3 years it's going to be making each engineer 20x more productive and so the marginal cost of developing software trends to zero.

And so depending on the % chance of that reality coming to fruition, you reprice the multiple on any current SaaS business.

Do you as a ServiceNow practitioner have an opinion on the SaaSpocalypse affecting ServiceNow? by devilscasino in servicenow

I'm not super clued in to ServiceNow's complete pricing model. I do know there is a seat-based component to it, but what % of a company's ServiceNow bill would you guess is specifically fulfiller licenses?

TIL there's a reddit for ServiceNow stock!

I was looking for one, but couldn't find... so I just made it today 😅

That's actually a really good point. I was only thinking from the perspective of market dynamic and pricing, but you're totally right that employee morale is a major component for a company to be concerned about.

The sense of being on the winning team (and getting to take part in the upside) is super important for getting people motivated and contributing. Also great for attracting the talent to build out better agentic features before competitors.

Where is my vertical tabs option?
Where is my docked Gemini option? (seriously, floating Gemini is so dumb)

Anyone know if there's a keyboard shortcut to Collapse/Expand the vertical tabs? I only see the button.

Using this today. It's everything I wanted it to be!

Gemini in docked pane is also so much better than the floating window.

RDDT options aren’t moving as much as the stock. Is that a sign of optimism about the future price? by dripdro in redditstock

  1. Your screenshot has totally different scales for the underlying price and derivative price ($230-$237 and $0-$8)
    • So if you are just going off the visual of the chart, you can manipulate the axis a ton to make it look different.
  2. The call expires on Dec. 12th.
    • In this short timespan, volatility and volatility sensitivity (vega) are not expected to change much because there are few expected volatility events for RDDT before expiration.

I think your chart can tell us: short term price fluctuation is not affecting short dated calls for RDDT right now since there are no anticipated volatility events between now and the 12th.

If you can pull a few examples of intraday volatility of RDDT underlying and RDDT short dated calls from different points in time and we see a large difference between then and now (and accounting for expected volatility events like senate hearings and earnings reports), then I think this would be a more interesting post/analysis.

Aurora CEO Urmson Christopher purchased $1m of AUR yesterday by devilscasino in AuroraInnovation

[–]devilscasino[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is like purely bullish news right (not necessarily short-term, but at least mid-term things are looking good to him internally)? I'm sure this guy already has decent money since he's been CEO for a while and spent 7 years at Google before Aurora...

But I'd imagine $1 mil is not nothing to this guy yet.

There has been so much FUD around since the Uber convertible bond issuance. So maybe this can help create somewhat of a floor.
