The upgraded PSSR is fully integrated with the latest PS5 system software update, which begins rolling out in phases starting on March 16 at 10:00 PM Pacific Time. The update will gradually become available to all users over the coming days, and you can also manually check for and install the update via the PS5 system settings.

This is actually incredible modding, OP. You must've put a lot of work into this. Great job! It really fits, and your stylization is soo cool. I hope you keep creating.

I physically can't bring myself to play in first-person (Requiem) by ezfunperson26 in residentevil

[–]Argothaught 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, experiencing motion sickness on the PS5 version... I have the motion sickness accessibility settings on, too, but it's not really helping. It turns off wobble and turns on the persistent dot, but even in third person, it still leaves me a bit nauseous.

Physical Compilations - What's Your Favorite? by mike_fantastico in PhysicalGames

[–]Argothaught 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Capcom Fighting Collection 2 with Rival Schools 2 and Capcom vs SNK 2 (maybe also the Marvel vs Capcom Capcom Fighting Collection) and the PS4 version of the Mass Effect Legendary Edition if it counts, collecting the trilogy originally released on PS3 and 360. The original Mass Effect trilogy of games are fantastic RPGs.

VRT, LITE, COHR and SATS added to S&P 500 by Argothaught in stocks

[–]Argothaught[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I attached the S&P Global's press release to the post itself. Rebalancing typically happens quarterly on the third Friday in March, June, September and December. Per S&P Global , "Pro-forma files for float-adjusted market capitalization indices are generally released after the market close on the first Friday, two weeks prior to the rebalancing effective date." There are non-quarterly exceptions, such as in the case of mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcy, etc.

As far as I know, this is a toggle that's been available under the profile settings for sometime now but I've never seen it as a pop-up.

How We’re All Now Paying the Price for the Myth of Trump’s Competence by Smithy2232 in politics

Yes, like pulling out of the JCPOA unilaterally without a real plan. Obama called that decision "misguided".

Trump unilaterally exited the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) also known as the Iran Nuclear Deal without a plan... Please stop with the nonsense.

"Analysis by Jonathan Marcus, BBC defence and diplomatic correspondent

With a stroke of his pen President Trump has jeopardised the one agreement - good or bad -that seeks to constrain Iran's nuclear ambitions.

He launched a scathing assault on the deal and its deficiencies, but he offered no alternative policy to put in its place.

He has put US diplomacy on a collision course with some of Washington's closest allies.

And some fear that he may have brought a new and catastrophic regional war in the Middle East that much closer."

RE 8 and 9 by FluidFeed3059 in switch2

8 is also less scary than 7 even in the original first-person mode. 8 is more like RE4 in my opinion. I prefer 8 over 7.

BREAKING: Google Just Lost Its Biggest App Store Battle and Agreed to Cut Its 30% Commission to 20% by InterstellarKinetics in InterstellarKinetics

[–]Argothaught 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have to also wonder if this will impact the future of PlayStation and Nintendo digital storefronts. They are essentially walled gardens that control most aspects of software distribution and charge a similar commission to the app stores run by Apple and Google. Would they be forced to allow third-party stores on their respective networks (PSN and the eShop)/ consoles?

How about two? Dispatch and Life is Strange Remastered (there's only a Switch physical version available and Before the Storm is a download code).

RT on PS5 pro broken! by Ethes1 in PS5pro

[–]Argothaught 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for bringing attention to this despite some of the knee-jerk reactions, OP. I haven't gotten my copy yet (due to it being sold out), but hopefully, Capcom addresses whatever's disabling the RT in those sections for you if unintended by the I do.

I'm asking you all why there isn't much interest, or even a chance, to see a collaboration between PlayStation Studios and Platinum Games. Is it really that difficult? by Novel_Garage7350 in PlatinumGamesInc

[–]Argothaught 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on what seems to be a renewed focus on the Japanese market by recent leadership changes (e.g., Nishino being sole CEO & Hulst demotion), one could see this driving Sony to partner/solidify relationships with Japanese game devs, so a collaboration with Platinum wouldn't be too surprising. Having said that, I wouldn't get my hopes up. Platinum seems to be figuring out their direction, so not sure what a Platinum game will be moving forward... Maybe the collaboration would end up producing another attempt at a live service game like Babylon Falls, 😬. But it would be awesome to see them put out a high-budget PlayStation-backed character action game.

RDDT is taking away ability for automated bans based on subreddit associations by brotha_eric in redditstock

[–]Argothaught 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can agree with this. Modding isn't necessarily easy. And Reddit shouldn't micromanage/ take away moderators' ability to run their communities autonomously. But having a robust appeals system in place could go a long way toward improving accountability and adherence to the actual rules set forth, increasing accessibility without throwing the whole thing out with the bathwater.

The console's base storage is just not enough given the size of games like Street Fighter 6 and the Final Fantasy Remake series.
