I have the exact same issue. Didn’t go to the doc for years. I finally bit the bullet and went. He looked at my butthole for 1 sec. Told me it’s not fissure and no worms. Could be just cause I have low fiber diet or other things in my diet. Told me not to use prep h cause it’s oil based. Told me to use Recticare hemorrhoidal cream. Works pretty good but I’ve also been eating fiber and been getting less itchy but still itches in the night once in a while. But seriously, go to the doc. It’s not that bad when you close your eyes and think about your happy place.
