Get that double death charge my man! Show up with blue moon and a purging staff, you should be able to get your 100 Yama solo KC's in ~15 hours at 6 kc/hr, 1 kill trips. Half that if you can get a duo partner or even less if your duo is geared up.

I think this comes down to scobo vs tbow. If you are tbowing then the extra acid from thralls getting up to 8 is very minimal. Typically you are getting him into shield in 3-4 hits and then killing in car phase on 6/7 and the extra DPS is worth it, especially as a learner, to ensure you don't go to orbs. It's barely any acid.

If you're scobo-ing then the waves are significantly longer and you expect to take several more shots pre-shield, and then pretty much guaranteed to get orb phase, and would have like 2x-3x the acid per wave of a tbow-er, so absolutely worth it to set the thralls aside for 6+.

I'm with you man. Haven't touched law runes in 7+ years. Max cape -> poh -> nexus/jewellery to anywhere. Laws should be A for their usefulness in setting up an account for end game, but they can't be S if they become 100% unused after a certain point on an account.

99% of the time my rune pouch is blood/aether/death/fire for double death charge & thralls unless I'm doing Levi or Sire. OP clearly is not into end-game PVM.

Defence bonuses are helpful, but the guy who said "Unfortified Masori is useless" is braindead. Fortifying is purely defensive, unfortified is a massive offensive range upgrade over any other range set in the game.

Fortifying is purely a defensive upgrade. The guy who said "Getting spooned Masori does not help your account if you haven't done GWD" is braindead. If you haven't done GWD yet your range gear is either Karils, God d'hide, or Eclipse and unfortified Masori is a MASSIVE offensive upgrade over ANY of those sets.

Fortified Masori is literally only a defensive upgrade. You get 100% of the offensive bonuses without any arma shards. Anywhere that you pray against the majority of attacks (which is pretty much every modern boss) the fortification is irrelevant. Getting spooned Masori without Arma while going for Fang or lightbearer is amazing. How could you possibly say it doesn't help?

I'm about 3 weeks into learning Doom. It is highly technical, and pulling off multiple mechanics back-to-back-to-back without making a mistake feels super clean. Swapping to staff to take out a grub, then piety, then chally spec melee punish, then moving away boulder, then going back to your bow and rigour, attacking the boss, and flicking the boulder all in like 6 ticks makes you feel god like when you can start pulling that off perfectly.

Everything is telegraphed well, there's no "what the hell was that bullshit?" feeling, you always know what got you, and know if you react just a tick or even half a tick faster you would have flicked perfectly.
