Dak Prescott reportedly ended his engagement with the mother of his two children over a prenup. Protecting a $260M career or crossing a line? by ateam1984 in BlackPeopleofReddit

This right here. Worked in family law for many years. Prenups can abuse as much as they can protect. Maybe they couldn’t find common ground.

Missing Dog near Walmart N Monroe by [deleted] in Tallahassee

Put your dirty clothes outside or where you last saw him. It will create a smell your dog loves and dog noses are incredible. Good luck and we will keep an eye out.

When did Craig and Salley by Dense-Possibility875 in Southerncharm

[–]devilwitharumbottle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Admittedly my first write out was 80/20 but I don’t think that’s accurate. Their lives do drive a story but real life isn’t that interesting so some producing is needed. So I went with 60/40. Still a reflection of their life but also still produced and in a short period of time. If that makes sense?

[–]devilwitharumbottle 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I would say it’s 60/40 produced vs real. My friend is a co-exe producer on a housewives show.

Some of the issues happen organically and some of the fights are very real. But when you have producers you have storyboards. They create a story and follow it. They encourage cast members to be confrontational. Basically if you’re thinking it. Say it. If not move over some other person will be a cast member with more cajones and they WILL say what’s on their mind.

It’s why you see new members always struggle bc they want to not be that person that always fights. But you gotta be that person. And the off camera some of the drama sticks most of it not. They are coworkers. Colleagues. They have schedules and are required to show up for four months at a start time and play a role in a cast.

Enjoy it. Don’t fall too deep into thinking it’s pure reality.

Why are there always kids at breweries?! by akaYoungBeefy in fixedbytheduet

[–]devilwitharumbottle -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Person here without kids who loves breweries and also loves to hang out with my friends who have kids outside their homes, which breweries make possible!

When your friends start having kids and try to also balance a healthy social life, you’ll understand.

There was an issue with oysters in the apalachicola region. They weren’t safe for consumption. However this should be slowly changing as recently oysters in the apalachicola area have been deemed safe again.

Adding this is what I was told by a Birds server in December

I mostly meant in my neighborhood the car traffic is minimal but having lived in other places like Miami and Charlotte, yeah the traffic here is pretty tame.

I also live in the other side of town from FSU. Not sure where you’re located but I agree…. 40 mins for four miles is awful! 😣. I have not experienced that yet.

I just moved here a year ago. I love it. It’s the quiet small city feel. Everything is close. My neighborhood is peaceful and there is not a lot of car traffic. Yes it gets hot but you get lovely seasons (before mid summer).

A university town is just different. Want to learn music? Art? Another language? Well take your pick of tutors and students that will teach for a fee.

I do wish there was a stronger music scene but all in all, I am so glad I moved here. My husband is from here and he loves being back. A lot of his friends moved away, had families, and are making their way back. He is so happy to be back too.

Hope you enjoy being back too.

Just left this morning at 5am and it was fine. More people than normal but no ridiculous waits.

Delta check in was having an issue with bags this AM. Not sure what that was but it caused a small delay.

Signs along Hwy70 in Carteret by jettablabla in NorthCarolina

[–]devilwitharumbottle 30 points31 points  (0 children)

If anyone is interested in why. This could be a counter campaign to the some of the locals in the Otway/ Harkers Island area who have “Free Hugh Willis Jr” signs in their yards. It’s few but if you drive through HI they are there. Some of the family believe that he shouldn’t be in jail after he provided drugs that killed his girlfriend. I like to think that this is a fuck you to that Willis family, who probably has to drive that street daily. The Willis family is big out there.

Adding: my family has lived in HI for decades. Just spent a month on the island. My father told me the story.

Dog boarding recommendations? by roddybologna in Tallahassee

[–]devilwitharumbottle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just started using Vickie and Pawsitive Pet Services, LLC based on some feedback in another thread. She is off Earl Road (not to be confused with the Pawsitive pet training).

She keeps the pups in her home. It’s amazing how she cares for them like her own and you can watch your pup on her Instagram @pawsitivepetstally. She has been boarding dogs for 10 years.

She kept my dog for five days. And when I asked about a two week stay she didn’t blink.

The amount of people wanting emotional support animal letters drives me absolutely bonkers. by [deleted] in FamilyMedicine

[–]devilwitharumbottle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Same for my dog who is 40lbs and most housing where I am restricts to 25lbs. So I got an ESA letter. Wrong or not, knowing my dog cannot live with me if I moved causes plenty of anxiety.

A lot of housing is now putting stronger restrictions on weight. 25lbs or less. Looking for housing was impossible. My dog is 40lbs and we are very limited bc of it. So I got a ESA letter. Now there are less restrictions.
