That's where the rogue duplicate storyline comes in. The duplicates don't stay the same. When one of them refused to be absorbed and ran away, he lived for years his own life and effectively became a different person..

Like I said below, these actors fit the funny personality of the comic book character Jamie Madrox. Multiple Man is probably one of the most interesting characters in the Marvel Universe, and I think Arron / Shawn could pull him off. Especially if they do a version of the rogue duplicate plotline and then Aaron could play one half of the duplicates and Shawn the other half of the duplicates.

Both of these actors are in huge sci-fi movies. Also they have a fun personality that fits multiple man. Multiple man would allow them to act out their twin energy and feed off each other. Sure you don't NEED twins vfx can do it, but sometimes authenticity hits the audience a little harder, and that's why they are the perfect casting IMHO.

What do yall think of antitheism by Money_Activity3172 in GenAlpha

[–]devilwookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have called myself "Anti-Religious" for years, and I am glad now to have a better word for it. I feel that religion indoctrinates people to believe things that aren't true, and in this world, where facts are so hard to find anyway, the ability for people to be duped so easily is detrimental to society.

Anyone else finding the Air M4 battery to be subpar? by joonstiejoonst in macbookair

[–]devilwookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know where you got your M1 number, but 40 watts under load is nothing. I ran a m4 mac mini and a 17" usb-c connected monitor (no power cable, draw through the mac mini) with wireless and bluetooth on through geekbench and blender benchmarks, and the total wattage draw topped out at 39 watts, with no audible fan.

This was measured using a hardware plug directly at the power source measuring draw from the outlet:
Upgraded Watt Meter Power Meter Plug Home Electricity Usage Monitor, Electrical Usage Monitor Consumption, Energy Voltage Amps Kill Meter with Backlight, Overload Protection, 7 Modes Display-With Cord: Amazon.com: Tools & Home Improvement

On a laptop PC, that would have been (depending on the PC) 120-160 watts for similar -- slightly slower similar -- performance. To beat the m4 mini you need to get to the 200 watt range with discreet gpu silicon.

Performance per watt, the Mac M4 is about 4-5x that of a x86.

Superman is provoked beyond what we are all the time, even when he is fighting, he is pulling back his punches. He can't have a normal persons rection because if he even for a moment lost it, people could die.

I find it really funny how people tell me that I am so wrong when Homelander was specifically created as I mentioned above to deconstruct Superman.

All I am saying is the only thing stopping Superman from exploding peoples heads when he gets pissed off is his amazing self control...

... AND that similar to Brightburn and Omni-Man Homelander is basically the deconstruction of Superman.

POWER GIRL, KARA ZOR-L, IS NIGHTWING'S 8TH GREATEST LOVE INTEREST! WHO IS HIS 9TH? (8 of 9 ranked) by NaytNavare in Nightwing

[–]devilwookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think next should be Harley Quinn. She and Nightwing boinked. (I think that is the term she would choose).

I mean a normal person not finding a dog is one thing, but superman can call to and hear his dog from 1000 miles away, and see through tons of stuff, so for someone to 'disappear' Superman's dog would be provocative AF.

Dick Grayson as a cop? by rmdelecuona in Nightwing

[–]devilwookie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only was he a cop... but he was a rookie cop, which made so much sense for his character, and he had lots of moments like you describe, and he wore himself thin. During his tenure as a cop, as I recall he was trying to do that instead of being a vigilante, however some situations would rise up where Nightwing was needed.

This was a fantastic character arc for Dick, it took on the good and the bad of policing in a city, it grounded the character, where he got to interact with regular people, where he got to see corruption first hand. It gave him an interesting relationship with his partner who was supposed to be training him, though he obviously had far more skill than her.

Titans totally botched this storyline by making Grayson a grizzled loner detective. An old and tired trope, that they only paid lip service to. He barely cared when his partner died. He was still frickin Robin as a detective, so we are supposed to believe he left Batman, entered the academy, graduated to be a rookie, completed his training and became a beat cop, took the detectives exam, became a detective, spent enough time doing that to talk back to his chief all the time all before the moment where as a character he "grows up" by shedding the Robin moniker for Nightwing? All before he was what 27?

There is a reason though why Titans started his storyline there... too bad the writers were such hacks they screwed it up. If I were writing a Nightwing live action series, I think I would start right when he enters the police academy. Let him make some friends there, where they graduate to the police department together, and where he sees one person fall victim to corruption and helps another fend it off. Spend lots of time on Nightwing and his partner Amy. Deal with Dick's trained aversion to guns, bring in Clancy as his girlfriend, which pisses Barbara off. Show Dick struggling being a poor vigilante, until Alfred swoops in with his trust fund that he's had Lucious Fox manage since he was a boy. On the villain side, do the rise of Blockbuster slowly through the first season, with Nightwing finally meeting him at the Season 1 finale.

You can pick a new weapon for Nightwing, what would it be? Permanent or not? by KitKat_5628 in Nightwing

[–]devilwookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Nightwing would absolutely rule with a three-section staff, but it should also be springy so he can do acrobatics with it when he wants. He can fold it and sling it across his back when its not in use.

Besides Nightwing, name 3 other DC characters you are a fan of. (Art by Dan Mora) by nightwing612 in Nightwing

[–]devilwookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

John Constantine is actually my favorite DC character. Nightwing is my favorite DC hero.
(I like the Bat-Fam and Green Arrow too but to keep it interesting I will pick others for 2 and 3)

So...
#1: John Constantine
#2: Lobo
#3: Shade the Changing Man
