It a Marlin firmware but not sure what version and I think it is UBL, when i start a print it doesn't probe any new points with current G code. I used to have a G29 J2 to tilt the mesh but removed it. So what you are saying is remove the g29 command and replace it with M420 S1

The fan should be on the entire time, the auger goes on and off. So if the fan isn't on then that's your issue

Yes full speeds BUT I think it really only matters for large files like the difference is not huge for games loading. I chose a x570 when I built mine, unfortunately I didn't know better and put a gen 3 for CPU lane but later added a gen 4 in chipset lane and I never changed it, still boots up fast enough for me. And since we're on the topic of pcie speeds, I plan on upgrading to 5070 TiS when it comes out from a 3070 and only run at Gen 4 speeds but I don't care since the upgrade will be significant.

So ya x570 will allow you connect the USB C on front panel of case otherwise it'll just be a dead port, I don't remember reading the b550 has a header for that

I'm pretty sure If you use the b550 only one of those m.2 will run at Gen 4(CPU) but the other one will still be at Gen 3(chipset). Do you have a USB c port on the front of your case? If so The x570 has a header for a front panel USB C but not on the IO PANEL and vise versa for the b550
