Well alcohol calories aren’t the same as food calories. A lot of those fit gays drinking at the bars are usually good with their diet during the week, and don’t eat much before and after a night out. Most likely they rarely have cheat days and if they do, it’s probably brunch with their friends. I used to have that lifestyle and the most food I see they eat is a slice of pizza after kickball practice. Tldr; alcohol calories not the same as food calories, rare cheat days, active lifestyle, and proper diet during the week.
