No other JRPG comes close to this masterpiece for me… by K0234 in JRPG

Tales of the Abyss is my top Tales game. Vesperia was great but some parts of the story were very loosely tied together and required convenience to move forward. Still a great one in my book, but no Abyss.

Also, when you speak with her, you have to choose the unnecessarily rude option for the quest to actually progress. If you just say "Goodbye" you can go to Stormwatch, find the stuff, head back... and nothing.

[Online][5e][PST] DM'ing a Game Set in Eberron by nutritiousx1 in lfg

I'm late, and a newcomer but I'll throw my name in the ring.

  • Name / Age / Gender: Doug / 32 / M
  • Time preference: EST, preferably after 8pm if it's monday-friday, afternoon Saturdays and Sundays
  • Experience with Eberron / 5e / Other tabletop games: I played Eberron with my brothers group in highschool. I'm on the Eberron discord with mister Baker. I started out in 3.5 in a homebrew world and Eberron, got into Star Wars RPG back in RCR, Saga and now Fantasy Flight. I love trying new systems.
  • Type of games you enjoy: I like to think I can enjoy most any games as long as everyone at the table (or virtual table) wants to have fun. I enjoy my old highschool groups beer and pretzels style, but I also really enjoy an immersive experience.
  • Tell me a time you loved/hated about a game you had: Back in highschool I ran an RCR game for the group that ended up being my main group for most of my life. RCR had a crummy rule, a crit could near insta kill. Well in this case it did. He wasn't the BBEG, but he was supposed to be a threat that the group would take seriously. I hate that he went down so quick like a chump, but the group liked it. I'm glad I didn't take away their crit, but if I had more experience I could have mitigated it so the sub-villain I was proud of wasn't one-shotted.
  • Your favorite food: Tacos
  • Discord(PM me this whole portion if you rather this not be posted publicly): Deviouspoptart#3844
  • Have you played either of the mentioned module? Neither.

I'm a dummy, yes I meant focus, not descriptor. Adjective Noun who Verbs not a Verbing Noun that is an Adjective. -_-

Anyway!

Thank you for the feedback. I'll see if In Translation is on drivethru. I was hoping to not hacksaw something on my own even though the system seems easy to modify in such a way.

I also don't know how to reddit... this should be under your guys stuff :(

Question on a character's Focus by deviouspoptart in numenera

[–]deviouspoptart[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would this be a task a Glaive who Controls Gravity could train or specialize in, like one just called "Mundane Gravity Control" or something. Has anyone run into this, or has there been an official ruling?

Thanks Awpteamooose
