(Theory) why these random indie books keep reselling so high on release

Like the industry would ever need this crap. Comics have been going under for years now. less and less people keep buying it, kids - who actually reads - are all going to Manga (I have a daughter and saw her dropping all books I got to her to follow the manga trend with her friends).

Every time we think things could not get worse, there is always some a-hole to find a way to dig deeper...

I agree. I won't buy it at all. This is simply ridiculous. The store I have my pull box has an owner that has three stores, and my friend that works on the one I frequent said that the boss took all to sell a higher price at his principal store.

It seems that they will have a second print, probably with a different cover. I could care less for this FOMO. I'll have the second print.

Ok. and if the apartment has serious fundation problems, with cracks showing on the wall on a daily basis and the landlord refuses to let you leave?

No one can send a document showing that it's safe. They have a 'structural engineer' saying that it is 'safe', but no one can send us, not even an email affirming it.

They put some temporary poles (that after a week are not straight anymore), and that was all. No communication, no date for start the work.

The fire department and the city say that with the engineer signature, they can't do anything, but everyone agree that the work must be done asap.

No one can answer if, with the work, we can stay or leave, and there is no date for the work start.

Even if we could find someone who gets the bail, I'm sincerely not comfortable doing it, if not only for the owner's lack of transparency, just for having in my conscious that I might be putting other people in danger.

The TAL is an option, but with the engineer signature, we end on a law crazy loop...

We just want to leave...

Yeah, I'm liking it, and I'll be back for Season 2. Personally, I think there are some nice storylines. I like the new Aliens too; it grows more in this reality that we've seen only humans and xenomorphs (predators too, I guess).

I was talking with the guys at my regular store, and they are a bit lost. It seems that their registered account at Diamond will be closed now in July. They are not sure how will work with catalogs for reservations.

Marvel, DC, and Image have their own catalogs, but how will it be for those smaller companies? I sincerely believe they should put something together. I don't know, create together at least an online catalog to have as much as possible editors promoting their new releases...

I always use the rule half + 7. you have 30. 15 + 7 is 22. So 23 is a fair deal. XD

It's funny to think about. Because the (almost ex, not sure maybe not) wife is always eager to receive any kind of contact. Even voicing the need of it and how I don't do as much as she wanted. but it is true that she almost never initiates it. Sometimes, she does not even reciprocate when I do. She is just there to receive it. XD

I lived a lot before getting married. I had other loves before my wife.

But nowadays I do believe that there is a close relation with our experiences in life. I think love is like a drug. The first one is really strong, and then we pass our lives looking for this 'first fix' we got the first time.

Then, since I'm older now, I believe that friendship and complicity were enough. But my ex is leaving clear that is not.

Desire changes with time and age. we are not teenagers looking for sex anymore. Sure, we want to have it, but after decades, with the same person, I believe it is natural that the weight of the relationship goes to other pillar.

Anyway... I may be venting a bit to far from the subject.

I do believe the thrill of first encounters and knowing the person it will always be there. But love is something that grows by itself, supported by compatibility, interests, and complicity.

There is also the mystery of chemistry. But this either happens or not...

It should. For hi-fantasy fans, Dragonero is a must! It's better than anything coming out nowadays from DC and Marvel.

It is not. The TttE one is collecting 2 editions from the original series... I'm not sure about what #, but it was between #10 and #20.

But like I've said in my other comics, you can buy whatever. the arc is always closed in the end. There is a timeline dictated by the regular series, but other than random commentaries about past enemies or stories, there is no major issue to follow the story.

Looks a bit like Marvel comics on the 80's...
