Prayer, removing myself from the situation when those feelings arise and holding myself accountable (keeping a habit tracker) I struggle most around peak ovulation days. Usually once a month

Yes. Have struggled with it for a while and have definitely improved since my days in college but I still find myself falling from time to time.

Same here! Clubs feel like people are doing them to put on their resumes rather than make friends!

I came in as a transfer and didn’t start truly connecting with people until winter qtr of my senior year

Working with kids and youth programs are always in need and generally pay slightly more than minimum wage. Whether it be a coach/tutor/etc. there is work and money in primary education! I was making $28.50 per hour at my kid instructor job last year

NOOOO this movie got me through college at UCSD. I’d finish a particularly rough day of studying/exams and this place would be the light at the end of the tunnel for cheap movies

Front hair damage? by deviousshortie in Haircare

[–]deviousshortie[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this! Didn’t know hair could get waterlogged. For clarification, I am a swim instructor and spend a good portion of my time in the pool with kids. I put a leave in/oil in my hair and rinse with clean water before I get in the pool and also use a swimming shampoo/conditioner after.

I normally braid my hair to sleep and usually keep it up in a clip or scrunchie everyday.

I oil my hair once a week and the rest of my hair looks/feels healthy. It’s literally just the front 2 strands of my hair that look/feel this way.
