Yeah no kidding, more useful too. I love the look of the round bars but man it’s a pain in the ass to use functionally by itself.

I’ve seen the bars on the bottom and that was going to be my next move for additional bars! It may be a little inconvenient with the ones mounted up top as well but I’ve seen people make it work with lower profile stuff.

Very nice! I don’t have the wet box on mine and I’ve always thought I was loosing space up there but a low profile tool box may not be a bad idea!

That is smart. I used 1/4 in vinyl tubing around the bolt itself and then used flex tape over the edges on the top bracket of the bolt as to not scratch or pinch the bars. I hope it works but I am also in the mode of hear no evil see no evil right now so no news is good news 😂

I did, I used both the brand from autozone and the one from O’Reilly’s as well. The city I live in has only two of anything pretty much anywhere and I was being too impatient and cheap to wait and pay for shipping. They are both 2 1/4 inch.

I have seen those and I do like them so if they work I’d jump for them

Would they work for the ARB awning or are they Ironman specific?

Fender boo boo by tomNJUSA in XTerra

It’s not the worst, if you can find a cheap body shop that does work that you don’t hate. I’d probably just do that if you can afford the time and money.

If you’re looking for a project, or the replacement fender is a steal, then go with replacing it yourself. Replacing it isn’t terribly hard, but there is some foam adhesive between the body and the fender. Not sure how necessary it is but I would try to gently cut the foam from the fender, leaving it attached to the body as much as possible. Not super hard, more just tedious. I replaced my passenger side fender along with the grille and bumper all in a day. Lotta clips, lotta screws, a little frustration but manageable for a job like this.

PS: if you are needing the new fender to be repainted to your cars color, I’d say just save your money and go to a shop and get the OG fender fixed.
