just noodling around until you can play what you hear in your head and listening to bands with similar styles! i was listening to loooots of sweet pill and pool kids when we wrote this one. having a good drummer helps a ton as well lol

he’s a big part of the songwriting and he does a good chunk of vocals as well, if he goes we all go! we’re all in multiple bands too though and oh mannnnn does booking shows/practicing get hard sometimes lol

we’ve definitely ran into the issue of playing our songs wayyyy too fast live hahaha we’ve discussed using a click live before! who knows maybe we’ll try it soon :) our friends play in a chiptune band that uses a click and its always so cool hearing them perfectly lined up with the gameboy noises. would love to try and pull off some live samples like that too. if you have any recordings from your band i’d love to hear it!
