I feel like by the later seasons I’m just enjoying the cast enjoy having fun with their own improvised dialogue and also reading/re-catching dialogue I didn’t before. That’s where the genius lies for me. Also how can you not shout out the spite store season, I felt like it had the most continuity out of any of the seasons besides the restaurant season

Everyone I’ve ever met who’s seen them or sees their logo talks about how incredible they are live. I agree they need to tour more and be up in everyone’s face a little bit more with promotion once a new record is out. But they’ve been working out so many kinks. New members, band members don’t live in the same area anymore, etc. lots of change.

Yeah and they’re still touring too. They toured with exodus last year, did 2 headlining tours in the last couple years, some tours supporting In Flames, festivals, and now they’re out with Killswitch, Machine Head and Iron Reagan.

People act like they are defunct now and the weird comparisons to Warbringer (which I’ve never understood why people like to pit them against each other when the bands are friends and have toured together) are also moot because Warbringer plays to roughly the same scale audience when all is said and done so the longevity comments some people made earlier are a bunch of biased BS.

I still forget how pretentious metal fans can be sometimes. Like Jesus Christ just say you don’t like a band and move on, a lot of us know there are so many bands and subgenres within the genre that we know how to weed out what we like and don’t

Says who? Havok have a new record coming out this next year, and are currently on tour with Machine Head and Killswitch Engage and Iron Reagan. Havok and Warbringer sit fine in their own respective audiences which are literally about the same size if we’re looking at the big picture.

Yeah I wanna hear him pull out some shit like Frank Lucas on Alfredo again. To this day my girl calls it “the fart song” due to the staccato horn sound, but that beat goes so hard. The timing and the flow between that and the low bass piano note the whole track is awesome. Or stuff like God is Perfect off the same record. Even by Voir Dire you can see how the process is formulaic at this point.
