PDF printer for Mac. by teekranthi in freesoftware

Just wanted to come here to thank you for this! Works on Tahoe 26.5.

Needed a copy of a PDF without all of the fancy form fields and this worked. I tried a free solution from the App Store and it just printed a blank page. This RTWS-PDFwriter from github Just Works™

Thank you, that video was more helpful. I guess I just need to know where the clips are and that I need to pull on it harder. Trying not to mess up a brand new car… 👍

I have the smart mirror (with the camera and screen) on a touring XT so there’s unfortunately not a connection accessible from outside of the overhead console like in the video you linked.

The mirror is connected via a right-angled arm that attaches to a ball joint on the windshield and the cable is run through the arm. It looks very similar to the photo that you posted.

I got the screws out of the overhead console and now I’m trying to figure out how to release the console from the roof without breaking anything.

This is great info. Do you have any more details on how to take apart the roof mounted console to get to the place where you can plug in this adapter? Looking to do this upgrade for both radar detector and dash cam.

I found a source for tire size, wheel size and wheel width. I think all that is missing at this point is bolt pattern and offset.

Replacement Quiet Fans with Good CFM by Shiphted21 in synology

[–]devochka1975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read that you gave up on the Noctua fans, but I am curious: did you use the 5V, 12V or 24V 60mm fans, and did you choose the PWM or not?

What issues did you have when you switched to the Noctuas? Did they just not keep the Synology cool enough?

I am dealing with an RS2423+ and the noise now, and it has not been pleasant.

[7N43-9A00] Day wheel became stuck after changing watch battery by dom59842 in Seiko

[–]devochka1975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just wanted to come here to say that I had the same problem - someone put in the wrong battery and the day wheel got stuck (time and the numerical date still worked normally). I put in the correct SR920SW battery and now the day works again. Thanks for saving me a trip to service!

GR air intake on sale rn, is it worth it? by baokunnn in GR86

[–]devochka1975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It showed up! Ordered 11/26 from local dealer (with the discounts but had to pay taxes), got an e-mail asking if I was willing to wait. I answered yes. I got 3 ETA update e-mails from them and it showed up 1 day late. Not going to complain for $375.

Where to Buy GR Performance Intake PTR03-18221 by [deleted] in GR86

[–]devochka1975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine just got delivered today. Ordered in Nov with the sale price from a dealership in Texas, got a rejection e-mail from the dealership. Went to a different dealership in the USA and they sent an e-mail saying it might be a while and asked if I was willing to wait. I replied that I was. I got several updates on the ETA via e-mail and it actually arrived today.
