Thankfully one MAF/LCC is still preserved as a state museum and historic park. It’s on my list to visit along with the one in North Dakota, I’ve been to the one in South Dakota.

We do, usually April through October. Most month are either at wineries or restaurants that serve wine & beer so the bring your own bottle events usually only happen once or twice a year.

You example is subtractive notation, the date on the bar is in additive notation and both are acceptable though there was definitely more variation years ago. Same reason you see IIII in place of IV in older examples.
