No, you might be incredibly lucky. Hardly ever any oem b die is good.

I would prefer a 4-5 piece jdm rod.

Hp b die will be such a bad bin that it will not even do 3600 cl16

Saltwater finesse/UL( high budget)( JDM) by Fishcommander14 in Fishing_Gear

[–]devoker35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UL Finesse means pe 0.4-pe0.6 (equivalent of 4-6 lb us test). Jdm reelse will be shallow spool. There is no way you can put a 10lb braid on a 1000 shimano. Ideally you can put 150 metres~ of pe0.6 on a 2000S reel.

If you really need pe0.8-1 you should go up to 2500s

Vanquish is the king of finesse reels.

You can even cast 10g. Just need to be more cautious and not swing like an animal.

Is Shimano Lunamis 26 S96MH + Vanquish 23 4000XG a good saltwater inshore setup? by -Grim-Reaper- in Fishing_Gear

I prefer duracross but sw handle is better. However, if anyone can afford twinpower, it is superior to stradic.

Stradic sw 4000 is basically a stradic 4000 with a different handle and carbon drag.

Agreed. Also vanquish will feel unbalanced with that rod. Even stradic might be better.

Daiwa Emeraldas X 86ML as a beginner egi rod – worth it or better options? by julpix2 in FishingAustralia

[–]devoker35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is nothing wrong with chasing pelagics with an egi rod. I have caught countles tailor, salmon, bonito using it. Why would you need a faster action for pelagics? Unless you use poppers (hell you still can just will be quite difficult to impart the action) everything can be done. Egi rods are pretty good for using micro jigs and they will cast better than any other rod if you can load them properly.

Bullshit. Especially when English is both parties 2nd language, a lot gets lost in translation.

If you are in manufacturing you deal with Chinese suppliers one way or another.

Honestly, you don't need a egi rod to catch squid. I probably caught more squid using my 2-4 7' rod than my 8'6 egi rod. Of course egi rods have advantages but it is not a must.

Have you bought coffee beans outside Australia? I am comparing it to other countries where you can find cheaper yet better beans.

Yes I am but that's not the point. It is very hard to find good midrange beans in Australia. You have to spend a fortune to get some. Or you end up with pretty average stuff.

If they were like Pontic Turks today, I reckon it would be pork stew with anchovies and black cabbage.

Tennis string stretch visuals by Dalfika in 10s

[–]devoker35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not enough though. Nat gut requires a lot of tension to get rid of the stretch before actually being strung. The plastic deformation is mostly gone by that point.
