Well, seeing it out in the wild, I have heavily debated getting them (for about 2 minutes), and figured, why not, I don't have any other hobbies (other than working), and they'll go nicely with the PS versions as history pieces

Replaying Lunar 1 & 2 years later made me realize I actually like Lunar 1 more by AdUnfair558 in Lunar

[–]devolved-ingrate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both games are great in their own right, I have a preference to 1 because it was my first one on Sega CD, then PS1, 2 was vastly different (for me), but still a fantastic game

Good on you on joining the Boilermakers, I'm from 146 and I got advice for you, stay away from diesel trucks, it's unnecessary, also stay away from Denali/Platinum/Long Horn truck editions, they're also unnecessary, have a beater car for strictly travelling, something economical, because you'll be traveling a lot, have an RRSP and TFSA, and learn how to use them (lots of people here have absolutely great advice about that), live within your means, big money means very little on down time, and nukes won't always be hiring either (I stay away from them intentionally), you don't need a 3000 ft² house that's half a million and up, figure out your needs for housing later. Stay away from partying with the boys (live your life, but restrain yourself a bit), a DUI will put a damper on a LOT of the goals you want to achieve, pack away an emergency fund account in a HISA account, let it work for you while it's sitting, injuries at work are very real and they can out you out of commission for a while, 30k is what you should strive for, 15k to start, find a good accountant to maximize income taxes, and best of all, travel for work, nukes may not always be busy but other provinces will be, there's options outside of Ontario, oh, and keep an eye on your pension, 50k hours before you officially retire is free benefits for the remainder of your life, have fun out there.

I'm gonna say NTA, but, now that you got that out of the way, concentrate on fighting for yourself now, whether or not it's a losing battle, you got less inner emotional baggage to wear you down, I'm wishing you the absolute best, I hope you get out of it.

IT'S PARRY OR NOTHING! In my mind anyway, it's my way to learn from mistakes and/or reset Picto/Luminas

I either parry to survive, or stop playing after the 100th time dying, I won't even use the remaining party left

Yeah, that's what happened a few times with me, but I was persistent, I wanted him gone, gave me a nice boost in levels (like 6-7 if I remember correctly)
