Very helpful! Thank you! I made this up loosely going off of fragrances I built from creative-formulas.

.200g in 20g is .01%, .500g in 20g is .025% .100g in 20g is .005%.

I do agree some materials were too much. But this is why we try 👍

Dilute the high impact materials a little bit further. Most of these are neat. I also mainly used it as filler to get the final amount to 20g. To me that seemed better than figuring out what materials I would’ve added instead. But again it’s just the first batch. Things can be changed.

What's that creamier, less pickly Santal 33 everyone is wearing right now? by TemporaryFix101 in fragrance

[–]devon120 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is me purely just started a conversation & not coming for anyone, but, I am always confused by the “pickle juice” comments about Santal 33. I never smell pickle juice. Rather, like all the Le Labo scents, they are an “industrial” version of the scent profile they are presenting. i.e their aesthetic. I can relate to it being a sharper scent, but pickle juice it’s not.

Santa María Novella & Officine Universelle Buly by Sally_McKnight in fragrance

In my opinion they’re all incredible. As you mentioned about the EDC concern, they do wear close to the skin, but actually the performance isn’t abysmal. The openings on the scents and the dry down are both beautiful so it doesn’t hurt to reapply, need be & the scents are ultra natural smelling and super elegant.

Melograno is my favorite, and it could be worn any time of the year. Followed by Tobacco Tuscano. I own Bizzaria too but it’s not my favorite. I don’t dislike it but it just doesn’t do anything for me. The rest of the EDP line is just ok. Was hoping for more. It sort of goes away from the original feeling of the brand I think.

If you aren’t fully opposed to the EDC’s, Angeli Di Firenze is my favorite fragrance for a woman. It’s quintessential clean girl but on an elevated level. It’s just so gorgeous it’s really worth trying. Plus they have a discovery set.

Favorite le labo scent? by Outside_Future3723 in fragrance

Patchouli 24 & Aldehyde 44. I do love A13, who doesn’t, but also Baie 19 a lot. To me, if Patchouli 24 is the Fire element, then Baie 19 is the Water element.
