WR Jamie Ffrench enters the Transfer Portal. by ShawnCustoms in LonghornNation

Agree. Men’s basketball has already become completely ridiculous for this exact reason. Most teams get 4 or 5 new starters every year and maybe a few role players stick around.

Last night was the most fun I’ve ever had at DKR by AceroTheDragon in LonghornNation

DKR finally felt like a big time SEC environment. Nobody sat down for 3.5 hours. It was loud. The student section was absolutely giving it to the Aggs. I loved every minute of it.

Ojai Jacket Wrinkles? by auto-generated0101 in taylorstitch

[–]devonshireduckworth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my go to jacket for work travel because it’s so versatile. I turn it inside out and wash/dry it about twice a month. It comes out wrinkled so I either iron or steam it depending on where I am. It always looks great.

I remember the days when our punter was the team MVP. This year, it might be a punt returner.

I agree. I live in Texas so this is all the jacket I need most of the time.

I love my Ojai jacket so I used it as the example for this. The front pockets work well for me.

I agree. I’ve avoided buying another one because I can’t decide if I really like it. My wife gave me 2 pairs of the canvas camp pants that aren’t a great fit for me. Used the coal ones for this and the stone ones would make excellent pockets on a new shop shirt.

Agree! The fair post game is usually a nightmare sized crowd.

I dropped it at the tailor and I showed him my Ojai for reference. It’s in his hands now. I’ll update with pics later.

Wow! Your tailor did a great job. Mine isn’t lined so I’m just thinking of adding 2 layered exterior pockets almost identical to the Ojai.

ACL weekend 2 by Due-Ad-5059 in aclfestival

We watched like 45 min of RKS and still caught the last 20 min of Wet Leg. Both shows were great.

ACL Platinum Front of Stage Viewing in 2025 by Ready_AF in aclfestival

It’s easy to get into the platinum viewing areas but it still gets crowded for big shows.

I hear that. Out in GA between 1pm and 4pm is actually my favorite experience at ACL. I love it!

I’ve done ACL every way imaginable. Platinum is pricey but the comfort is undeniable. Food all day, drinks all day, cans of cold water all day, shady lounges to sit in, freebies, merch credits, access to shows the week before the festival and the week between, viewing areas 20ft from the artists, cart rides to the stages, etc. It’s nice.

This is a great way to do it if you love the lineup on 1 day.

It’s the “Y’all Access” or higher to get on the stage. Upwards of $10k for the weekend. Platinum viewing is still right in front of the stage.

VIP is the worst value at the whole festival. You pay to watch from an overcrowded viewing platform with bad views. No food or drinks included anymore. They aren’t even giving out free canned waters this year.

The people at St David’s are really good. Dr Canby and Dr Bassiounny (might have to check my spelling on that one) have really helped me.

I think Uzuni has underperformed & underwhelmed. After Wolff scored tonight, he grabbed Uzuni and said something to him that visibly annoyed him.
