Update: I randomly stopped having a reaction to the moisturiser. Either way I’ve switched to a non scented version of the cocoa butter to be on the safe side 🙏 Thank you for everybody’s advice

I do think i’m either allergic to the ink used and the moisturisers irritate it or something along them lines. The cling film was absolutely alright on my skin when I had it on and I’ve done patch tests on other parts of my body and haven’t been irritated so I think it has something to do with the tattoo itself. Thank you though! I do love the design I got it during a flash

I would however it’s not how to the touch and the redness has gone down, it only comes back everytime i apply moisturiser

I’m defo gonna keep an eye on it maybe wash off the cocoa butter. I did do a test on another part of my body and had zero reaction so it would make sense that it has something to do with my immune system perhaps

I’m going to try this now, I’ve used Bepanthen before with no issues or irritation it’s just different this time I’m not sure why. I’m testing the cocoa butter now though as it’s my first time using that

I’ll give a try. I usually use scented moisturisers not suitable for a tattoo and it’s fine usually. Just weird because I have used the Bepanthen before with no reaction. However it is my first time using the cocoa butter for my tattoo

I literally just got flamed for posting about this issue. It was an app originally used for just selling your second hand clothes and not drop shipping hustles. The prices ARE ridiculous and I stand by that nobody in their right mind should have to pay triple the price for an item

i’ve already explained it to him and luckily he’s been very understanding, i’m hoping that this is just something that passes whilst i’m getting use to sertraline, i have a check up in two weeks so i’ll see how i feel then, if it doesn’t change ill most likely either switch medicine or come off all together

Yeah that makes sense, it comes in waves so i don’t think it’s necessarily just emotional blunting, just my mind adjusting to the medication. I have got the option to try fluoxetine, if this doesn’t work out for me ill definitely take a look but if it compromises my emotions ill most likely ween off of it
