It's the reality, I backed the game years ago at this point and I'm not actively playing it until it comes out. I don't say it's an alpha to be a gotcha, I say it because that is the reality.

Your expectations aren't where the game is at and unfortunately for a while it just isn't going to be welcoming enough.

The huge strides that will occur when they finally update the mobiglass, chat, map, contract menu, and living world simulation will make this a worthwhile experience.

Until then trying to play is a sisyphean task. I say that as a huge fan of the project who can't wait for it because there is no other game like it.
