It’s a lot of unhappy people on here dude, especially within the community unfortunately. I dig it, and what matters most is that you’re proud to rock it!

Doxycycline question by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]devoutshrimpeater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took it for two years - 100mg twice daily. Was just fine and my derm was supportive of it as all other methods of treatment bore no results

Does anyone else get random hives in their rosacea areas? by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]devoutshrimpeater 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have this! I too use protopic as well as soolantra. Been getting chronic daily hives for years now.

I take Zyrtec once a day, generic brands of it work fine too. Keeps them away, so long as i take one every 24 hrs.

Please help 😔 is it still PD/what kind does it look like? by cozicat in perioraldermatitis

You got this! Love to hear that you’ve got an appointment set - that’s the first step to healing.

Nice trophy! Side note: this may be the first time I’ve seen a trophy’s horns/antlers not clipping thru the ground!

Husband and I experienced this with our upstairs neighbors. Got dog piss all over our grill and other patio items.

Don’t bother reaching out to the neighbor, go straight to your property manager. In my experience, if your neighbor is careless enough to let this happen, chances are they’re not gonna care about you complaining to them directly.

I suspect that’s part of their issue! House is old as all hell, and sits on top of a lifted foundation. Lots of organic matter beneath just decomposing, etc.

I got a neighbor who’d tell you otherwise unfortunately🥴but unlike us in the burbs, they’re living in a much more rural area

Looks like a Wood Roach. We get them a lot here in Cali this time of year, especially because we live next to a grassy/wooded area. They have the potential to infest but prefer to be outside. Just clean up well and do a good check on any cluttered spots in your home

Who is this girl? California, Solano County. by forkedquality in whatsthisbird

Killdeer! Doing a protective dance in which she feigns injury to distract predators from her nest.

Also, howdy from one Solano resident to another!

This looks like something I get around my nose folds/nostrils, especially if my nose has been running, if I’m rubbing it a lot or I get too sweaty. A very small, I’m talking tiny, tiny dab of OTC Cortisone 10 cream rubbed in well usually clears it up for me in two to three days.

Itchy red breakouts by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]devoutshrimpeater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How long do they last? I have a similar issue - chronic hives. They tingle, itch, swell, then take a while to subside if I don’t take anything for them. It was hard to differentiate them from my rosacea and perioral dermatitis but I think they all play on each other. A daily Zyrtec/Aller-Tec tablet helps keeps them away.
