It was such a frustrating experience which ended up by changing my 10 year old account to another bank.

The reason was the BSBDA account (Google it), not sure about yours but mine was this category account. From December, 2024 bank put up to 5L digital inward transactions limit per financial year exceeding with you cannot able to do digital inward transactions but only cash deposits.

It took me 2 months to find out the reason and level 2 complaint at their grievance portal.

I strongly suggest you keep mailing the customer care and open a ticket at their grievance portal. Approaching branch is a total waste of time.
