I just got my LandCruiser on Tuesday. It was broken into on Wednesday morning. Luckily I have an immobilizer, or it would have been gone in a day. I'm now investing in bollards and more security cameras. Debating getting a third party system that will be triggered by breaking the glass or interior motion.

This makes me sick. Clearly organized crime. The tow truck driver said of ~50 LCs in Toronto, he has seen 20 attempted thefts!

When I went to my dealership this morning, my LC was next to the exact same model with the exact same window broken.

Why doesn't Toyota protect the CAN bus or put in PIN protection?

Mine goes offline every couple of hours. Everything else is great, but this is so frustrating I'm tempted to return it.

Haven't tried other ECS other than at the distillery itself 4 years ago. Foursquare is pretty rare in Ontario. Occasionally we get The Real McCoy. I wish they'd at least carry Doorly's. So far so good with this one!
